cordelia sat in the middle of the floor, cradling misty in her arms. whispering in her ear, lightly. "please, don't leave me i, i can't do this without you here." she paused to catch a small breath, "please wake up misty. follow my voice, we're all here waiting for you. just follow my voice."
nothing.
"sequere, lucem, venite, ad me" she could feel the warmth leave her body.
it had been about an hour since cordelia had spoken, but still, she sat with misty in her arms, still in hell.
"please misty, please don't leave me all alone." she wept.
she could feel warmth start to fill her body again, giving her a small bit of hope.
misty's body jerked up and she was sent into a coughing fit. cordelia couldn't see, but she knew everything was okay now. she scooted backwards and grabbed her cane, then proceeded to go back to the couch where she was seated before.
"i-i don't wanna do it anymore" misty whimpered, standing up and running to her room. hearing the padding of misty's bare feet, cordelia frowned.
