"misty, wake up." cordelia whispered softly, almost not wanting to wake the sleeping girl. misty's head rose slowly, turning to look at the supreme next to her. "i didn't mean to fall asleep" she said in a groggy voice, coated with sleep. she rose to her feet and cleaned up the work area.
"have you slept much lately?" cordelia asked, worried for misty. the taller of the two nodded. "course i have, i just fell asleep while workin." she tried her best to give cordelia a convincing smile, which made cordelia smile sadly.
"you can take the day off if you need, i know how it feels to be exhausted." cordelia gave her another smile, and walked out.
misty spent the rest of her day thinking about the supreme. she didn't sleep at all, but sleep mattered less than miss cordelia to her.
