"Id love to get up one day, put on a new black knee-length dress, and go lie on some train tracks," I say. "But why?" He asks. I ignore his question. "I want the wind to blow. I want to straighten my hair and let it fall around me. I want my bracelets, my skull necklace, my converse. I want to close my eyes and let the sun shine on my eyelids. Ill smile the whole time. Ill laugh when I hear the ring of an oncoming train. Ill smile with the rattle of the tracks. Then, right before it gets to me, Ill open my eyes. Then it will hit, and there will finally be peace."
