Shino ---/ I Don't Dance

This is apart of my story For You I just decided to post it on here before I start posting the lemons for it ;) This is the love confession between my main OC  Tammy and Shino. It's based on Tam's birthday party.

 

Once the game had ended with Shino kissing me, everyone began dancing, snacking, drinking, and talking with each other and having a lot of fun. Julie and Zabuza were acting extra cute today, standing close to each other and bantering and such.

I got myself a drink and leant against the wall, watching everyone dance. I smiled softly, thinking about my foster mom and dad, my mate, Teddy, and Sammy.

Shino walked across the ‘dance’ floor and up to me. I found myself having to fight back a blush as he leaned against the wall next to me.

“Having fun?” I asked him.

He nodded a little. “Are you?” he asked.

“Yeah, I guess I am,” I said, taking a sip of my drink.

Shino looked over to me with a small smile. “I see you stayed in the outfit I picked out,” he said. The only thing I no longer had on was the lip gloss, as that came off when Shino kissed me.

I shrugged a little as I moved a little closer to Shino. “I couldn’t be bothered to get dressed again,” I told him.

After a moment of just standing there, Shino asked, “Want to dance with me?”

“I don’t dance Shino,” I said.

“Oh come on, I’ve seen you dance before,” He said with a small laugh.

“I said it before, that’s not dancing that’s prating about.”

I looked at everyone dancing and having fun, and then back down at my feet. “I…I can’t dance like that,” I said softly. “I can jump around and be stupid, but I can’t dance like that.”

I nodded my head to the dance floor.

They were all slow dancing as some slow songs came on. I almost laughed when I saw Genma-sensei swinging Kakashi about the dance floor, being a prat in his own right. Julie had gotten Haku to dance with her, since Zabuza was probably in the same boat I was.

I gripped my glass a little harder and took a small sip. Shino suddenly took the glass out my hand and placed it on the table. He grabbed my hand and dragged me into the middle of the dance floor.

“I can’t either,” he said, spinning me around then taking hold of my hip with his other hand and pulling me closer to him. “So let’s just try together.”

“Just don’t kill me when we fall over and break something… or someone,” I said, placing my other hand on his shoulder.

“It’s okay,” he said as we began to sway and move to the music. Nothing could distract me right now. My eyes locked with Shino’s, a wide smile on my lips as I laughed a little.
