"Hey, you see that girl beside Levi? Apparently she's the Shadow King of the Underground!"

"She's the Shadow King? No way. Doesn't the wanted poster say that it was a boy?"

"Dude, don't ask me. But really, one of my friends heard that..."

"I can hear you, dumbasses." You muttered under your breath as Levi led you to the deputy commander of the Scouting Legion's office.

"Ignore them." Levi told you, knocking on the door at the end of the hall.

"Name and business." A voice said from the other end.

"Levi, and I got the Shadow King with me." He said, opening the door before the person on the other side could invite him in.

Sitting at a desk was a blond haired man that seemed only a few years older than Levi.

"She's the Shadow King?" The deputy commander said in surprise. "Hanji was not kidding when she said it was just a bunch of plot twists."

Levi rolled his eyes.

"But anyways, good to meet you, Shadow King. I'm Erwin Smith, the deputy commander of the Scouting Legion." He held a hand out.

You stared at it hesitatingly before shaking his hand. "...(Y/N) Magnolia."

"Alright then, (Y/N) Magnolia. Please step out of the room for now, as me and Levi have something to discuss about you." Erwin said bluntly.

"It'll be okay." Levi said to you, gently pushing you out the door. "Don't worry, alright, (Y/N)?" He didn't wait for your answer before closing the door again.
