Things were different when I got home. The weeks that followed were strange ones. Marc and I grew even closer. I spent most of my time at his house helping his grandma around. I learned more about Sara and sometimes when it was just us in the house we would have talks about cutting. I learned why she did it, and learned her and her late husband's love story, and it was an amazing one at that.

I grew to love Sara, like she was my own grandma. Since my mom's had died and my dad mom never in the picture I looked at Sara as my new one. She would give the best advice and I even told her about my own story, Trinity drama and all.

I slept in Marc's arms every night and woke up with him lying beside me. I was on cloud nine. I hadn't spoken to Trinity since I've been back, just a few words in front of our parents, but other than that she was out of the picture. This seemed to anger her, she went out of her way to make snide remarks to me during school or under her breath when we had to do the dishes. But I let it roll off of me, I was done with her.

Speaking of Trinity her and her relationship with Jake has been a little rocky. Marc still hasn't talked to Jake; he only called him up and told him about his grandma. He says he still has stuff to say to him but now wasn't the time. Jake's attitude towards me has changed also. He's quick to stop Trinity when she's saying something rude to me and he's even tried talking to me. I can see he is slowly distancing himself from my sister. Finally seeing through her charade.

It was now the end of October, Halloween. One of my least favorite holidays, I'm a huge wimp when it comes to scary things. I can't even watch a scary movie without getting nightmares and sleeping with the light on. So seeing scary commercials, movies, costumes, etc., makes me hate this holiday even more.

The only good thing that happens on this night is the senior costume party. It's thrown at the abandon warehouse that we use for the party (prom) at the end of the year. All senior show up in costumes and we dance and drink the night away. There are some games played, wee gee boards are thrown out and we even have a haunted woods out back if you want a scream fest.

Last year me and a group of friends crashed the party, but most of the seniors didn't care. They were too drunk to notice anyways, it was a blast and I couldn't wait for this year. I had went to the warehouse earlier this morning and helped set up for tonight. To say I was excited was the understatement of the century.

Now I was at my house getting ready with Liz. Liz and Dallen were doing a cute couples costume, she was going as a Greek warrior and Dallen as a Greek God. Her outfit was short, white with brown broad leather on the hemline and a brown leather belt that fit her waist perfectly. It came off of one shoulder with a broad brown leather strap, while her other shoulder was covered with the white satin material. Her accessories consisted of brown leather wrist bands and a fake sword. She wore gold gladiator shoes that crisscrossed and stopped at her mid thighs. Her blonde hair was curled and framed her face; she wore little to no makeup. Dallen was in for one big surprise.

Liz had shown me a picture of Dallen in his costume, which consisted of him with no shirt but a white 'man' skirt. He had a broad brown leather belt that rested on his hips, and a fake sword of his own. He too wore gladiator shoes, but not as drastic as Liz's, his only went to his ankles. I couldn't help but laugh at the fact he was in a skirt. Sure that's what they wore way back when, but he looked ridicules. It's a good thing he has a nice chest, I have a feeling if he didn't look so hot flaunting his naked chest then he would be the laughing stock.

"Need help?" She asked as she finished her last minute touches to her hair.

"Please?" I said laughing as I almost burnt myself once again. I hated curling irons; I always seemed to burn myself.
