I followed Bella with my eyes from a little way down the street, where I had 'disappeared into the crowd', as she walked away in the opposite direction watched by her little stalker.
Everything had gone perfectly to plan.
Once she had moved out of my line of sight, Edward quickly swept the whole street with his eyes as though he was looking for me but I had ensured he would not have any luck with that. Then he set off after her, still oblivious to my presence.
The finale was nearly here...and none of them had any idea, just as I planned. Once it was too late to stop it they would see how their whole worlds are about to crumble and they would understand I had been playing them all along.
I was their worst nightmare...they just didn't know it yet.
