I run back to Star through the forest with tears trickling down my face. I trip over a lot of roots but I get back up on my feet. I look at my hands; they have dirt and calluses on them.

I start seeing the light, it blinds me making me look like I'm glaring. I block the light with my hand running toward Star. I wipe the tears from my face and grab her wrist. I go in the water and drag her with me but she stops and her weight makes me fall face down in the water.

"What's the matter?" She asks calmly.

"Luna's here. She's on the island. And she is my aunt." I say half not thinking about what I said.

"What?" She asks looking straight into my hazel eyes.

"L-Luna's on the island and... she's my aunt." I say bluntly and half shuddering.

"Hold on. Let me sink this in really quick." She says sarcastically and adds, "HOW IN THE WORLD ARE YOUR MOM AND THAT CRAZY LUNATIC SISTERS?! SHE HAS TRIED TO KILL US LIKE FIVE TIMES!"

"Well... I don't exactly know to be honest... I was kind of in shock and started running toward you in case she tried to kill me while she had the chance." I say slowly.

"Right... why didn't I think of that?" She asks looking over at the waves, and adds "We should go back."

"Tell me you're joking." I say digging my heels down in the sand in case she drags me at least it will give me some time to run.

"You should at least find out why you're mother and her didn't get along to well..." She said bluntly.

"No way are you getting me to go near that... thing." I say.

"She is a human just like you and me... well... we're technically not human. We're technically fairies and mermaids... and she is a fairy... so... I guess she isn't a human. But you're going to find out more about this aunt of yours." She says putting her hands on her hips.

I groan and say: "Must I?" I say sitting on the sand and the cold waves go up on my knees. I shiver.

"Come." She says dragging me by the wrist.

I sigh and walk with her, and back into the woods we go.
