They Left You

~Age 19 Laurence~
I know yelling at her wasn't going to help, but I need to get her attention somehow, so why not. What's to loose...? A limb or two? Aphmau is trying to get me off of her, but failing seeing as I'm a little stronger right now then she is, because she sort of just had a baby, and I just went to hell. Literally though. Her struggling lessened, at least a little bit. She's out of control right now.

I looked at her eyes and they were blood red and her long two top teeth were out. She's hungry. And if the doctor doesn't come in soon, I'm her meal. I have open wounds too, this is bad. She's not in any sort of stable mental state. She probably doesn't even know who I am.

Minutes later, the doctor comes bursting in with a tray of five packets of blood. He saw Aphs eyes and immediately knew what she was after. He signaled for me to back away a little, as her eyes eyed the bags. He tossed the first bag too her, and then the next, and next. Until she was a total mess. Drenched in blood, and now passed out again. I released a breath.

"Is she fine?" I asked sweating.

"Yeah, just overly hungry. To the point where she couldn't even identify who anyone was." The doctor said.

"Okay." I said in relief.

"May I get the nurse to clean her up?" The doctor asked.

"Yes, but please don't tell her about this." I asked.

"I can. May you step out as I get the nurse." He questioned. I nodded my head and exited. I let out a breath of relief.

This is crazy how it started off just us as friends in school, now she's had kids, turned into a shadow Knight, and it's only been three years. Three, long, years. These years have had its good times and it bad times, but without these things, it wouldn't have made us who we are today.

Wow I sounded cool for a moment.

~Age 18 Aphmau~
I'm in so much pain, but it's feeling better when I fed. I felt my eyes open up just a little, to see a bright light of the room.

I look to my right, then left, no one was here.

Where is everyone?  

"They left you" A voice said. It repetitively kept saying that.

"They left you, they left you, they left you, they left you, they left you." It just wouldn't stop.

I ended up screaming, as it just kept saying that, more like chanting. It's making me dizzy, I feel alone,

I hate this,

This has happened before, but I passed out before it said anything else. It's never been this bad.

The door was swung open, and Laurence came in breathing heavily as if he'd just ran a marathon.

I looked at him, feeling helpless.

He sat on the bed and embraced me. I fell into him as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Your real right?" I asked.

"Yeah, what happened?" He questioned.

"The voices, are everywhere." I said sniffling.

"Are they here now?" He questioned. I coughed.

"No, but they were when no one else was here. They just kept telling me that they left you." I said.

"Well no one left you." He said rubbing my back.

"So you are here?" I questioned for clarification.

"Yes, I am." He said.

"Good, it terrified me that I could've not seen you or anyone." I said pulling away just enough to look in his eyes.

"I'll always be right by your side." He said lightly kissing my nose.
