You were an angel. A pretty good one, not all raging hell like the others. But you did. What you believed in, you protected those who needed protection and did what you thought best. Along the way you came across the path of The Morning Star. And even though angels aren't supposed to have feelings, you came to love him- and he , you.

Your POV

" Luci." He flipped through things on his desk, ignoring you completely. " Luc." You tried again but to avail. " Lucifer!" You shout and he turns to face you. " What? What could you possibly want?" You shrink back but stand tall. " What is going on? What has gotten into you? You haven't spoken to me since you barged in."

" You want to know what's wrong? I'll tell you what upsetting me. The fact that everyone I ever knew is after us. Castiel and Crowley are hunting me down, after everything. Father has gone back to sit on his thrown. Amara vanished along side him. They are looking for a fight, not one I am willing to loose." He was now in your face and red with rage. You bring a hand to his cheek and his hand catches your wrist. " Don't do something you'll come to regret. Don't let what happened to Gabriel be repeated."

His face falls at the name. He had regretted it from the moment it occurred. Gabriel was his younger brother, a kind soul, and he can never forget what he did. " I spent years trying to fix that feeling and still have yet to succeed. Just- be cautious, dear." He nods and drops my hand. " Leave me." He turns his back to me. " Lucif-" "Leave!" You look sadly at the ground but vanish at his request.

You appear to your friend, Castiel. It was against Lucifer's will but Castiel had helped you during the fall. " Oh look Cas, lucifers bitch decided to show up." Dean snarled. " I wouldn't consider myself as a female dog Dean but that is not the matter I am here for." Cas nods and summons you to the next room.

" I have come to warn you, Lucifer is not happy. Though I shall remain at his side, you have helped me and I owe you a warning. Please do not come, I fear for what he might do. I cannot control him." He gives a knowing glance, " I do understand, but what needs done must be done. I shall give you the advice that you should not attend, I have a feeling that you will be caught in the cross fires." You nod but know that you will remain, for you do not leave the one you love. " Well, if that is true then goodbye brother." He smiles. " Goodbye (y/n)"

You return to Lucifer who is sitting at an abandoned warehouse waiting for the avengers to come running. " They are on their way." Lucifer looks at you and sighs. " what would I do without you love?" You shrug, giving the smallest smile. " Sit in a cage." He smirks and walks closer towards you. " Is that so?" He growls at your ear. " Yes indeed." You smile and pull away. They are here. The door opens and there are both Castiel, Crowley and accompanied by the Winchesters.

" We can leave now." You offer but he would never back down even in the face of defeat. " Hello brother." Lucifer greets. " Hello Lucifer." Castiel speaks. " hey Sam-ster, long time no torture am I right?" Sam shakes his head in disgust. " This has to end Lucifer." Castiel notes once again. " oh but Castiel the fun has just begun." Cas lashes out toward Lucifer. The Winchester stay back, working as a tag team with Cas.

" Hello love." Crowley resorts, obviously wanting to take you on for himself. " Crowley, please don't do this." You drop your blade from your jacket. " Sorry love but that was always your problem, never knew when to back down." He takes the angel blade and makes a swing but the demon blade blocks it and pushes him away. Castiel and Lucifer where rolling and throwing punches that left no affect.

Crowley continued to try and battle you off but to no affect. Lucifer had beaten Cas badly. " Cas!" Dean yelled and both he and Sam lunged for Lucifer but Lucifer threw them out the door, binding the door as well. You kicked Crowley blade out of his reach. He pushed you, knocking your own blade out of reach.

You stumbled but Crowley having the leverage pinned you against the wall with his powers. " Having fun there, (y/n)?" You grab the knife you had stolen from Dean out of your waistline and threw it as Crowley, landing right in his shoulder. Since it was not a demon blade it didn't kill him but it disorientated him for a moment. In the moment you managed to throw a few punches and used your own magic to knock him out. Hurting him was not in your agenda.

You look up to see Lucifer pinning Cas against the wall, and in his other hand sat and angel blade. You rushed behind him, just close enough. " I'm sorry brother." Lucifer states. " No!" You jump in front of him and the blade pierces though you instead. Lucifer looks at Cas and sees him still well. " How are you-"

" She saved me." Lucifer looks down, finally taking notice to what he had done. He had killed you. Nothing but the meat suit that once held you remained, but you had been gone. He couldn't process what had happened. " She saved me." Castiel whispers as he crouched down behind his brother. Sam and Dean had sat quiet in the background, no noise could be hear but silent sobs.

Castiel was right, you had saved him. You jumped in front of that blade to prevent his fate. But it was not because he saved you or helped you, in fact it had nothing to do with Castiel. You did it because you knew that if Lucifer harmed Castiel he would never forgive himself, he wouldn't be able to live with himself after. You did it because you loved Lucifer, because you cared for him so deeply you didn't even second guess your decision. You figured that killing his own brother would bear much more of a burden then killing a low- life angel.

The room remains silent, no one dared speak. There was no fighting, or yelling. Just silent tears of those who cared and the heavy hearts that controlled them.

" No." Lucifer whispers. " She saved me."
