Author's edit/note: I've added a picture of part of the dream sequence. Cause it's not entirely clear in the chapter what exactly Sky sees. But its not colored, and it traditional art.

Some years later

I slid down the hill, little rocks broke off and rolled down the hill faster than me. They went so fast, that when they hit the hard rocks below they ricocheted off with a *tunk*. 

As soon as I made it to the bottom of the hill, I sprung back up onto my feet. Then I continued to run, my right hand gripping the handle of my blade so hard that my knuckles turned white. But I wasn't thinking about that.

I glanced back behind me, without losing stride. I couldn't see anything exept the dark, and the hill I had just slid down. But I knew that meant nothing, HE was still coming. I quickly turned my head back around and focused on the task at hand.

After running for a bit longer, I herd a branch behind me snap suddenly. I jumped and glanced behind me, catching a glimpse of a shadowy figure behind me. I began to run faster, despitely trying to out run him.

I could hear my heart pounding in my ears as his cold laughter echoed eerily around the forest. I pushed myself, trying to run faster and faster. He can't catch me, I can't let that happen I thought to myself, as I squinted my eyes against the stinging wind. I cleared my head by shakeing it, and I reopened my eyes. 

My eyes widened as I skidded to an abrupt stop, the trees had formed an enclosed ring that acted as a dead end. I looked everywhere, panicking and trying despitely to spot an exit. But to no avail.

--Hello Sky...--- I froze to the ground as I felt the chilly grip of his voice wrapping itself around me. 

___s-shi...t___ I studdered, as he began to laugh a cold dead laugh.

--Oh Sky, you should know by know that you'll never be free...--- I shivered as I began to feel the temperature of the air around me drop, as he came into the clearing behind me. I stifened, and resisted the urge to trim around and look at him as he began to speak again. --I will find you, and when I do,--- he leaned over my shoulder from behind me and whispered into my ear, his voice got quieter as he spoke ---your going to wish you never escaped me.... Adam...--- My eyes widened, and I involuntarily stiffened as he laughed again.

 Once I had slightly recovered I whipped around to look at him, but he was gone.

I jolted awake, snapping to an upright position. My heart rate was sky high, and excess adrenaline pumped through my veins. My pajamas and sheets clung to my body, drenched in my sweat. I was panting, and my body felt exhausted like I had been running. I slowed my breathing and sighed before smacking my parched lips.

I flopped back down onto the sweat drenched sheets, and ran my hand through my hair. I was thinking about my dream, what did it mean? 

I rubbed my closed eyes with my hands. I let out a frustrated sigh, and looked up at my ceiling, today was going to be a very long day.

Hey pals! Thanks for reading my wonderful fan fic. I hope you enjoyed it and are excited as I am for the story ahead. I had meant to post this chapter yesterday, but I forgot:p.

I will try to post again on Wednesday, but no promises. I only have the next chapter done, and I already had this one done. But I am hoping to be able to keep updating twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
