Cha An’s Point of View
The moment I got back to my dorm, I saw it. The giant skull and crossbones picture taped to my door. Someone must’ve saw me and Lu Han. I knew I shouldn’t have bothered to communicate with that Kingka. Threats are always there when you are in some sort of relationship with the Kingkas, given that they don’t accept anyone. I took off the sign and was aware of the girls peeking out of their droms, glaring at me. I just opened the door, stepped in, and locked it. Usually, I wouldn’t lock the door, but this was a safety precaution.
Walking over to the cabinets, I opened one and carefully took out a box. Taking off the lid, I reached in and took out my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. I ran a finger over the white casing, fingering the little locket at the end of the phone charm. My finger ran over the engraved words, Always there , in silver.
I wish you were, I wish you were always there for me.
Opening the cover and turning it on, I came face to face with the picture of my family in the lock screen. My mother, father, and halmeoni. They stared back at me. We were all smiling in that photo, completely unaware of the tragedy that would happen soon after.
I stared longingly at the almost perfect family picture before bitterly shutting the cover over it. I don't want the pain to come, to surround me and drown me when I had finally been able to surface and climb out of it.
Lying on my bed I stared up at the ceiling. When had I become such a person?
Just a small update ^^
