Chapter 28 - How Could You?!

Mark's POV
"Heheh.. don't worry about me, Felix, I'll be just fine..." I said to Felix

"Jezz, Mark, why are you acting so weird today?" He asked me

"Oh.. well, little things that make me happy turned me into this.." I replied

"Uh.. kay... if you say so.. I'll go now.. byee.." he said

I didn't say anything, I just left. But little did he know, I was actually hiding behind a pillar.

Felix's POV
Thank God he left.. I never felt so scared before..

"Felix!" A voiced suddenly came

I looked behind, and saw Marzia, she was on her horse. I guess she is ready to go..

"Marzia! Over here!" I yelled to her

She came over and jumped off her horse to talk to me.

"So..how is it?" She asked

"It worked very well! The king doesn't notice a thing, I'm so glad that we can finally save them..." I said proudly

"Well done.." she clapped and hugged me tightly, but after a couple seconds, I felt her body slightly intensed.

"Wha..what's wrong Marzia?" I asked, about to let her go, but she stopped me from doing that.

"There's Mark, right behind us. I think he heard all of it, we got to go.. but act normally and slowly..." she said

She then let me go, and faked a smile, and said "let's go!"

She knew what's gonna happen and she had a plan.
1st. Mark will tell the king about it, of course while he is doing that, we could easily escaped
2nd. After we escaped, we will seperate from each other, hoping that no one will catch us, and tried our best to reach the southern district.
3rd. Tell Signe and Jack to hide as quickly as possible

"Let's go get our horses.." I said

Mark's POV
"I knew it, I knew they were hiding something from me, but they're just dumb enough to not realize that I was there. Felix, I'll catch you after I told The Highness..." I said while running to the throne where Signe's dad is.

"Your highness!" I shouted, while taking my breath.

"What is it? Something new? Tell me!" He said

"Felix.. he betrayed us!!" I yelled

His eyes widened after I said that, I could feel he is angry as hell.

Just then, A guard broke into the throne.

We looked at him suprised, asking him what happened.

"Prince Felix, Princess Marzia, they stole the horses and left.. " he said

"Why didn't you stop them???!!!" I yelled at him angrily

"They are still here, inside the castle, if we are quick enough we can close the gate faster than they could escape. I need your order, yourhighness.." he said

The king still looked shock, I know, he couldn't believe it.

"Well don't just stand there, go tell the guards! I'm coming with you!" The king said.

Felix's POV
I could feel that we are being noticed by the guards for looking suspicious.

"Is there something that I can help, sir?" A guard asked

"No, thanks, just opened up the gates. We are leaving early so that the king doesn't have to worry about us.." I lied to the guard.

"You heard him? Open the gates!" The guard said

Just when we were about to left, I saw the king riding a horse with alot of guards behing him

"Felix, How could you??!!!"
