Abby's P.O.V
I was asleep, dreamless. Someone pulled me out of bed and put two layers of duct tape on my mouth. When I realized this wasn't a dream, I widened my eyes and tried to scream. It was useless. Nobody could hear me scream, no matter how hard I tried.
Someone sat on a chair in front of me; muscular, has dark brown hair and mud-colored eyes. The room was dark, creepy, but there were blue lights coming from nowhere. It almost looked like I was going blind.
"Abby. Abby. Abby." he said. He ripped the duct tape off my mouth, but my hands and legs are both tied together with thick rope. "Tell me, who are you with?" I didn't answer him, I was too busy looking at him. "Your funny. Trying to defeat the Form. Alone." he sighed, "Yeah...my friend that got taken and went into the Form also escaped...and he tried to defeat the Form...they killed him. You can't win."
"First: I'm not alone. Second: I am not your friend that tried it, I am me. Which is ten times better than your friend would have ever been." I yelled. I finally took my eyes off of him.
"How many destroyers are with you?" I rolled my eyes. I don't care what he asks, I am not answering.
"Why did you take me?" I asked.
Before I saw him move, I saw a flash of his hand, which immediately resulted in a stinging burn. "No! I ask the questions. Not you. You answer the questions got it?" He demanded.
"You honestly don't care what I am doing or going to do." I winced at the resonating throb. I wasn't going to plead for mercy. I hope he knows that. “And yes, I am going to defeat the Form. Not try."
He ignored me. "I am going to ask you a few questions. You are going to answer them. Then, if you answer them honestly, I'll let you go, on one condition."
"What condition?" I asked.
"You'll see. By the way, names' Jack. Also, I am not the 'nice' guy. Don't think I will let you go easy." He threatened with a sneer. I looked away. I couldn't look at Jack anymore.
"Is that supposed to be a threat?" I asked. I think he forgot I have powers. He doesn't. He is just...human, I think.
I balled my fists and moved the chair, with my powers, took the chair from under his butt and made it fly up and hit his face. He fell to the floor. Smiling, I thought, I like my second power.
With only my will, I was able to rip apart the ropes restraining me. "Goodbye, Jack." I said with an innocent tone, and the smile of an angel.
Alec's P.O.V
She is been gone for maybe four hours now. We haven’t been able to find her anywhere. I was about to go look outside again when I heard the door slam shut, and then deep breathing. Abby was suddenly right in front of me.
"Alec!" She said with eyes rimmed with tears. “I’m sorry I didn’t come back sooner. I… someone kidnapped me.”
My eyes widened, speechless. "You're okay…?”
"Yeah."
"Really? Says the big stab wound on your thigh. What happened?" I estimated how much gauze I was going to have to use to cover that.
She frowned and shrugged her shoulders.
"Honestly, I didn't even know that was there." She looked at her thigh. "Ugh,” She grimaced. “But I don't feel anything." she explained. But she didn't look like she was lying; she didn't know that stab was there.
Abby's P.O.V
I continued to look at it; it was actually really deep.
"Well the guy who took you, he probably gave you chloroform or something. It should wear off soon. You might want to take tonight and tomorrow off on training."
I nodded my head because I knew no matter how much this sucks, I do have to take off tonight and tomorrow even if that means loss in training.
Kaely's P.O.V
I am really worried for Abby. When Alec told us that she was gone, I didn't know what to think to calm down or to think I was losing my best friend. Her stab wound isn't nothing. It should be checked by a doctor, but according to law, we should be killed as soon as they find us.
Rikki was worried too, could see it even though she didn’t say anything. I really should try to be Rikki's friend, see who she really is when you know her. It wouldn't hurt to see if we could have a friendship.
In second grade, I met Abby. We were at lunch and this kid, Mack, he pushed Abby, which cause her and her food tray to drop. I helped her up, and that's when we became friends. But after two years, in fourth grade, she disappeared, and they told me she died. That is when she was actually taken to be in the Form, a year after that is when the Form took me. Abby and I reunited the first day I went to the Form.
Abby's P.O.V
My leg was propped up on a soft pillow, I was lying down because of my thigh, also that it was only 6:42 am. I felt more tired than usual. And I usually wake up at this time. Alec brought me in a food plate, with 2 pieces of bacon, 2 pancakes, and one egg. I smiled.
"Thanks." I told him.
"Least I can do." he smiled back. "How are you feeling?"
"Much better, thank you. You know right now, you are my savior. I'm sure without you I would have been ten times worse right now. So… thank you." I took the tray from his hands and sat it on my lap.
"You’re welcome. When you’re done eating, just set the plate right here." He cleared a spot on the desk right next to me.
"Okay, I will."
This sucks...knowing when Alec walks out, he is going to be training and so is everyone else, besides me. Alec just left, and I am actually jealous of him right now. I mean, if anyone was in my position right now they'd be jealous of him too. I want to be involved with this, I wan’t to be helping.
Rikki's P.O.V
I walked into Abby's room and smiled with no meaning. "How are you feeling'?"
Even I could tell she was getting tired of responding to that question. She titled her head and looked at the floor, "Way better."
"How do you like not training?" I asked, somewhat sourly. She did this on purpose, she stabbed herself. She just wanted to get out of training, I know it.
"Hate it." She told me. Little liar, I thought. "Tomorrow I get to train again!" She said happily.
“Oh come on!" I snapped, breaking my act.
“What?" She looked around, like I wasn’t talking to her.
"You don't really want to train again! You're putting an act, aren't you?"
Abby's P.O.V
"Rikki! Seriously? Why would you think that?" I yelled.
“Oh don’t pretend this wasn’t all for attention.” She said viciously. “We all know that.”
“Oh, what? You deprived of attention yourself? Is that why you’re assuming this?” I scowled back, not fearing to meet her eyes, and meet her tone. But I took a calm tone, and sat back again. “I was kidnapped, interrogated, and stabbed. Thank you for being so considerate. You can leave now.”
Her face reddened. "Whatever, Abby!" she ran out of the room.
Once she was gone, I couldn’t help but wonder… Is she the only one who thinks that? Or does everyone think I am trying to pull myself out of training? I don't think Alec believes that, and Kaely would never think I am lying, never. But Kevin, I don't know him very well, he could believe Rikki, because Rikki is a manipulating little bitch.
