Alec's P.O.V
I looked over and I saw Kaely is gone. Where is she? She was just here like ten seconds ago, so where could she have gone so quickly? I noticed Kevin and Abby didn't even notice she was gone. I walked into the kitchen, nothing, he bedroom, nothing, bathroom, nothing, outside, nothing. She is nowhere to be found. I cannot find her.
Maybe I should tell Kevin and Abby that Kaely is gone. They need to know she is gone.
Kaely's P.O.V
Where am I? Dessert? Dry land. Not much, but a couple of dead bushes, and a few cactus’s. Even two tumble-weed. I just wish I knew where I was. Suddenly, in the distance, I can see an old cabin.
I walked for maybe about five minutes before I reached it. The cabin is reddish-brown with only one window. It’s very old. But something about it makes me feel like I've seen it before, like I have a past here.
When I was little, I used to go camping. I was around ten years old, though. So it is mostly a Burr. Before I was taken to go to the Form, every summer for one week, my family would go camping. Finally, I remembered this is it. This is the cabin I came with my family to.
I slowly ruined my fingers on the chipped wood on the side of the building. I can remember my mom and my little sister, sitting in front of a fire, listening to music having a great time. But that is when I was taken. Thinking about them, it makes me remember how much I really loved them and how much I miss them. I felt a tear on my face. Kaely, I thought, please don't cry, it'll make it worse.
Suddenly, I heard the -brown, ruined and dirty door- open. I looked to see who it was. She looks familiar. But if she was anyone, I can't remember her at all. She is she looks around 15, maybe. Not old enough to live alone.
"Who is here?" she yelled, not noticing me. But soon enough, she looked to the right and saw me. She opened her mouth wide and dropped the tea cup that was in her hand. Tea splattered all on the porch. "Kaely! Your not dead!" I clinched my teeth. I ignored how she said I wasn't dead. I kind of feel bad, I don't remember who she is. She looks so familiar to me. Who is she? She gave me a bond-crushing hug. Finally, she let her arms fall down when she realized, I wasn't hugging her back. "Oh, my goodness. You don't remember me. I'm sorry. Names Katy, your sister." she refreshed my memory.
My little sister! She is alive! "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry for not recognizing you. You have gotten so big!" I almost yelled. I pulled her in for a second hug that I would actually put some effort into. She looked at me and smiled.
"Same for you. You’re so pretty!" She said with much excitement. Katy has blond hair and brown eyes, much like me. Her body is in the shape of an hour glass, all curves. She is very pretty. Georgiou’s, actually.
"Where’s mother?" I asked almost jumping fifty feet into the air.
Katy lowered her eyes and clinched her teeth and made her lips a straight line. "She died." she told me, I gasped and held back my tears. "Two years ago she figured out that you 'died', so she went for a long drive and her car flew off a broken bridge. I am so sorry."
I pierced my lips together, still trying to fight the tears. "No, I'm sorry. I was never really dead. She didn't have to die! This is my fault, isn't it?" I almost yelled in her face.
"No!" she screamed, "It wasn't your fault. She didn't know, neither of us did. Please, Kaely, don't blame mom's death on yourself. And--"
"How could I not?" I asked demandingly, "She thought I was dead, so she flew off a bridge."
"But not on purpose, Kaely!"
I can't believe this. My mom died when I escaped the Form when Baron was trying to kill me. My mom is dead...just like Abby's and probably everyone else's. For one second I thought I could be a happy loving family again, but in reality, nothings a happy ending. Nothing. I gave Katy a hug after her words. She was really trying hard to make me feel better, even after not seeing me for 11 years. She is a great sister.
All this time of me thinking, maybe the Form doesn't kill all families, and that my mother was still alive. I got one thing right, the Form doesn't kill all families. The family kills themselves. I know the Form plans that, too. I bet the Form makes sure the family figures out, and they know that will cause them to do something stupid. Like my mother. If she didn't take that drive, she could be alive. Just like Rikki could be, too.
"I need to get back!" I whispered loudly. I didn't mean to say that out loud. I didn't want to. We are sitting in the living room on the couches talking about where I was the whole time, and what has been happening.
"Excuse me?" she asked.
"I need to get back." I repeated, "Back to the Form. They need me!"
Katy stood up tall and smiled, "let me come with you!" she said loudly.
"Katy, I don't think that is such a great-"
"Please. I have already lost 11 years without you. I can't deal any longer. I need to be with you. Let me help you. Let me train, too. But I just won't do that destroyer stuff or whatever you guys call It." she explained. Wow, she really wants to be with me.
"Alright." I said. Katy jumped up into the air and screamed loudly. "But just one thing, how do we get back?" Now this is a big problem. Even if I did get my powers to work on teleportation, I couldn't take Katy along with me, can I? This is a big problem. How do we get back?
