My eyes lightly fluttered open. I was still laying beside Evan curled up close and next him. His breathing was soft and gentle.

I couldn't help but let out anSmall smile. This is the Evan I could handle. She sweet and gentle non arrogant teddy bear.

" Oh poor kit looks like you don't get to help me with morning wood"

My eyes widened and I nearly launched myself away from him and onto the floor narrowing my eyes at him.

" you... you JERKFACE!" I groaned and buried my head into my knees.

I could hear him lean up as he made a soft grunt." Oh little kit why do you hurt me so?"

I rolled my eyes and got up." How do you feel jerkface?" I sighed.

" hurt knowing you've given me THAT nickname"

I sighed and got up walking close to him and checking the cut on his head." Well at least your cut has scabbed  up" I murmured.

He shrugged." It wasn't that bad"

" Evan You realize you passed out because you saw blood right"

He sighed and rolled his eyes standing up." I lived though." He found his bloodied shirt on the ground beside Adams shirt and put Adams shirt on, rolling up the other bloodied shirt tightly.

I stood up figuring he was going to leave." You should go back to your dorm and get more sleep. More importantly I need to find Rory. She didn't come back" I frowned.

" she probably went to sleep in the library figured you'd know she does that from time to time" he shrugged.

I sighed." I can't believe she left me alone here with you." I rolled my eyes as I tied my hair up.

He then got up and I felt his arms wrap around my waist." It was nice Mari..." was all he said and I could feel his lips kiss the top of my head.

I sighed pushing away the feelings I began to have and pushing him away along with them." Whatever. I'm not going to be tricked by you Evan" I crossed my arms over his chest.

He laughed and stared out the door." I know. You're too smart for that,kitten."

Sunday was really just a full day of nothing. And recovery from Evan being a jerk. Rory just slept all day and I spent time studying for a test at the end of the week. I also started to wonder. Is there a way for me to get out of this hell on good behavior or something? I mean come on I do all my work I don't do anything illegal, not like I did before but the point is I'm not a bad person I never was and I really did just wanna get back to my old life.

My old life.

I sighed and leaned back against my bed. Was my old life really worth wanting back?

Nobody likes me there anyway. Well not anymore. Everyone said so. They thought I was insane. My parents don't like me anymore.

I started to realize the only people in this world right now that likes me were the friends I made here. Maybe it was a good idea to never go back. I don't have time to worry about this sort of stuff between managing Evan drama and worrying about school. I can't wonder what my life will be like when I get back home.

I closed up my textbook and hopped off my bed. Getting some money from my drawer. When I opened it up I was reminded of another thing I have to deal with.

The secret gift giver.

I picked up the small white box opening it up to look at the charm. It was a cute turtle still. But I still didn't know who gave it to me or why they gave it to me. And the card... " Like a perfect scene.."

What could that even mean? I mean it definitely is an unfinished phrase of some sort of phrase but now I just have to figure out whose giving it to me.

I shoved my drawer closed and left the dorm only to , speak of the devil, nearly step onto another white box.

I leaned down picking it up and opening it quickly. It had another charm. Sort of. It was my birthstone. Alexandrite. I had to admit it was beautiful but whoever gave this to me knows my birthday for sure and that's a little unsettling.

And then of course there's the note.

" ..From a movie screen."

I whispered it to myself before sighing and groaning.

" ugh what does this mean!" I shouted at myself. Before shoving it into my pocket and closing the door so Rory could sleep peacefully.

Heyo so I wasn't actually going to continue this story but because of the spike in reads I figured eh why not so this is a filler chapter so that's why it's so short because I'm trying
to get back into the swing of this story so definitely longer chapter coming for sure!
