Caramel waited in Flower's den, she could hear Night talking but couldn't make out what he was saying. She was fighting to urge to move forward, but she was afraid of what information she would find. Caramel felt a shiver run up her spine when she thought of Tiger. The last she had seen of him was when he was floating away on a coffee table, she hoped he was okay. But as Night walked in she realised that she might have bigger problems to worry about. "So you want our help!?" His voice bounced around the room then into Caramel's hears. "yes, I need help finding my friend."
"And you think we would help you!?"
"M-maybe."
"We have better things to worry about, that little house cats who can't look after themselves!" And with that he walked out, took a piece of prey, and took a few greedy bites from it. As much as Caramel was scared, she couldn't stand having cats say negative stuff about her, when they didn't even know exactly who she was. Tiger learned that lesson quickly, she thought with satisfaction. But what Night said still infuriated her, and with that all her fears forgotten, Caramel confidently, stomped out of the den and confronted Night. "How dare you call me useless when you don't even know who I am!" She roared,
"How dare you, come into my territory and steal the prey!" He bellowed at her.
"I haven't even eaten since I left my home! And if you're not going to help me I'll find my own way home, and I'll hunt as much I like in your territory!"
" I don't care what you do! I don't even care if you die! JUST GET OUT OF MY TERRITORY!" That caught the attention of everyone in the clearing,
"No,not until I find Tiger!"
"Well we're not going to help you!"
"Fine then I'll just stay here!" That did it, Night was furious. He, like Caramel, hated having cats telling him what to do. His breathing quickened, and Caramel was getting ready for him to attack. He pushed his back legs, and launched his body. Caramel closed her eyes, and waited for his weight on top of her. But it never came.
