Chapter 19: Lisa: Mason walks behind me. I walk into what's presumed to be my new room. Pulling off the sheets and comforter I lay in the bed. Mason came in and sat with his back to me . I lay on my right side. My body curved around were he was sitting. He reached over to me and pulled at a few loose curls that framed my face. He reached behind my head and pulled out the hair tie.
Mason: I like when your hairs down. I've never seen your curls. It was a nice surprise.
He continued playing with my hair. My eyes grew heavy so I closed them. The gentle tugging on my curls relaxed my tight nerves. It's been a rough day.
Mason: how long ?
Lisa: how long until what?
Mason : how long will it take for you to stop hating me?
Lisa: what's makes you think your even worth me hating?
Mason: I took every thing from. Your family, friends , your home. I would hate me .
Lisa: you didnt take Lena from me
Mason: she's the only thing I could give you.
Lisa: I wish you hadn't.
Mason: ( surprised) what do you mean.
Lisa: yes I do hate you. I hate you because you took everything from Lena also. You should have left her. This is about me. This makes me the cause of my sisters loss. Let her go. If you let her I will stay. I won't fight. Please I begged. But Mason ignored me. Kissing my lips lightly he stands and walks out the door shutting and locking it behind him.
