Chapter 23: Lisa : the room was dark. A light hung from the ceiling. Walking to the center of the room I stared into the light walking towards it. Standing under the light I look around the room .I see a body laying on the floor. The body was on its side facing the opposite wall. Rushing to it I pushed it onto its back. Brushing the blonde hair from her face I cried for Lena. Deep black and blue bruises covered her neck. I leaned over her body placing my head onher stomach screaming threw my tears. A door opens across the room and a man walks in...... I fling up in bed . Taking in as much air as possible. I look at my surroundings. A window was open to my left. The air smelt salty. We were by the ocean. Standing on shaky legs I walk to the window looking out to the beech I see Mason sitting on a sand pile watching the waves. I turn from the open window walking to the door.
