Chapter 21: Lisa: after breakfast Lena took off upstairs to snoop in Masons room. Rolling my eyes at the trouble she will get us into I press my fingertips again the spine of the books stacked on the shelves in Masons library. Walking half way across the room I continue touching the books looking for one to read. As I press on the spines of each I notice one spine was disfigured. Pulling that book from the shelf I press around the bulge. Turning to the tables in the library I shuffle threw the drawers grabbing a pair of scissors. Cutting down the length of the book I pull back the spine and a key drops to the floor. Picking up the key I examined it closely. Slowly I walked across the hall and stood in front of Masons office door. Pressing on the handle I felt the pressure within the handle. It was locked. BOO! I jumped dropping the key. Luckily when I turned I only saw Lena.
Lisa : what is wrong with you
Lena: laughing) you looked so focused I couldn't help myself . Old habits dye hard. What can I say .
Lisa: I held up the key in front of Lenas face. She took a look at the key.
Lena: you think she said ( nodding towards the door)
Lisa: yes and if it unlocks the door then we can call for help. When Mason gave me the house tour I saw a phone on his desktop.
