Chapter 30: Lena: the next day Lisa seemed fine. But I know better than that. She was in her own world. She wore a smile but it was fake. Late that afternoon I saw her enter Masons office. They were in there for over an hour. When Lisa came out she smiled a real smile at me. Question filled my head but none I had time to ask before Mason took off after Lisa up the stairs. Something wasn't right. Going to sleep that night I pressed my ear to there door. No voices were heard. Mason didn't leave the room. Neither did Lisa till the next morning.
