Chapter 25: Lisa : looking up at Lena I asked what happened to your face?
Lena: get some rest Lisa.
Lisa: Lena don't do this. Don't cut me out especially when it's about me.
Lena: standing from the bed I walk out the door closing it behind me. I refused to look at Lisa. I was supposed to protect her. But I couldn't then. I'm her older sister and she's in pain. She just doesn't know it yet.
LATER THAT NIGHT
Lisa: I was looking in the mirror at my naked body. There were more bruises covering my flesh than just the one marking my neck. My shoulders , my ribs , and my thighs. My knuckles were cut which was the only thing that brought me ease. What ever happened I put up a fight.
Stepping into the shower I start scrubbing my shoulders. Rinsing of the soap from my body my chest constricted. It became hard to breath. Panic started to set in. Sliding down to the floor of the shower I lay mead on my knees and try to control my breathing. All I could hear was screaming.
Lena: what did you expect you took us.
Mason: I was gone for 2 hours and your already causing trouble. I wanted to make Lisa happy by keeping you here but you won't be for much longer. Your lucky I haven't
Lena: haven't what. Show me what a man you think you are.
Lisa: I watched as Mason swung at Lena. Backhanding her right cheek. She slams against the wall looking a little dazed.
Next thing I knew I flung myself at Mason . What's wrong with you I screamed.slamming his chest with my hands. It was me. It was me . Not her . I'm the one who found the key. I'm the one who broke into your office and I'm the one that called for help. I wanted help Mason. Your a monster and I wanted us as far away from you as possible.
