(Clary's PoV)

I woke up to see Alec laying next to me with a hand over my waist. After what happened this morning we both were exhausted from all the information we got.

I mean we meet Alec's REAL family. To be honest though, Mrs. Lightwood seemed like a bitch and Mr. Lightwood seemed like a push over. Max was like a miniature Simon. Jace was arrogant as hell and Izzy...

Isabelle Lightwood seemed out of place. She was sweet. She was beautiful. Wow... What! What did I just think?!? But she is...

I walk up to a door that apparently lead to a bathroom. I quickly showered and brushed my teeth. Izzy had left me some of her old clothes. As I walk out I bump into a very hard chest. I land on my ass with an umh.

I look up to seem a pair of dark brown, almost black, eyes. They look to me looking through me. "Hey, sorry. I was just looking for you." Izzy extended her arm out towards me . I gladly took it. 

Once I had regained my balance I said. "Thanks. Why were you looking for me." Izzy looked behind her and I saw that Alec was getting up. She looked sadly at him. 

"Clary. Clary... Where are..." Alec looked up to see me and Izzy. He looked right past Izzy and locked eyes with me. "Clary don't scare me like that." I walked over to Alec and put a hand on his shoulder. 

"Alec, calm down. I'm right here. Everything is...." But before I could finish Alec's phone started to ring. He looked to see who was calling and groaned. I give him a look and walks to a corner to talk to the person on the phone. I can tell that he is talking to his boyfriend but it doesn't seem to be going well.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by my own phone ringing. I soon recognize the ring tone and launch for my phone. "Simon.." I didn't wait to answer it. "Clary where the hell are you. My phone says you are at an old abandoned church." I walk towards a window and look down. 

First I see Simon's van. Then I look closer to see that Simon is standing in front of it. "I see you Simon. I will be down in just a second." I start to walk towards the door when a hand stopped me. 

"Let me go. I have to talk to Simon." I say to the person behind me. When I turn around I expect to see Alec but instead I see Izzy. "I'll go with you."
