"But that means that Valentine isn't dead. We need to talk to Hodge." Jace says moving towards a huge stairwell. "Why can't we just talk to mom and dad." Izzy asks following him. " Because they aren't ex-circle members." Jace says once he gets to the staircase.

He is half way up the stairs when he turns around. "Well are you coming?" 

(Clary's P.o.V)

Alec comes up from behind me and grabs my hand. "You can stay here if you want and I can go talk with them." I can see that he didn't really want to so I shook my head. I looked behind me to see Simon with his eyes bulging out of his head. I thought that they might just pop right out.

"Come on." I say to Simon as I grab his hand with my free one. My two best friends in the whole world and I were now following and strange golden boy and a cute mystery girl. When we get to the top of the stairs we start to go threw the twists and turns of the hall to, I don't know. 

Finally we come upon a set of giant doors. I gasp as he opens it. Inside those doors there thousands to millions of books. I walk inside and wanting to wander off on my own. But then I strong hand pulled me away from the thousand of untold stories, waiting their turn to be read.

I turn around to see who pulled me away from heaven to see that it was Izzy. "We need t stay focused. You can read all the books you want after we're finished." Izzy says as she let goes of my arm. As she does my arm is suddenly cold. "Finished for what?" I ask because I still have no idea of what is going on. Izzy just keeps on walking.

I look back to see that Alec was on his phone again. He looks up and we lock eyes. I nod know that he should have this conversation in private. I don't really think he ever got the chance to break up with Cas.  They were only dating for like a month but I could see that Alec wasn't really into it. Alec walks out of the room. 

Soon mine and Simon's phones are ringing to. Yes we are all currently dating some one. We were all going to break up with them but everything happened so we just didn't get the chance. Both me and Simon roll our eyes and answer the call. He walks through a hall of bookshelves and I walk the other way. But first I saw that Jace and Izzy were looking at us so I decided that it was okay for them to hear my conversation. 

I put the phone my ear and instantly regret it. "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN! I HAVE BEEN CALLING YOU FOR 2 DAMN DAYS! DID YOU JUST FORGET ABOUT YOUR GIRLFRIEND?" Oh yeah. I am bisexual. I hold the phone away from my ear as I look at Izzy and Jace giving my a shocked face, though Izzy's was more of an awe look. Guess that don't  know a lot of gays. Aren't they in for a surprise.

Once I hear the line get quiet then i put it to my ear. "Okay, sorry my phone was in the shop and was hanging with Simon. Oh and don't bother calling we are over BYE!" I say all of this in one breath and very cheerfully might I add. Softens the blow. I look up to see Simon walking back with an irritated look on his face. I give him a look but he just brushes it off. 

"I think I am going to die. Why do I get the violent one like seriously. James was very vivid when he explained how he was going to murder me for breaking up with him." I rub his back and look up at Jace and Izzy. They are still staring. Just when I was about to say something Alec comes into the room.

"Ugh. I hate breaking up with people. Its very sad to here that. They get all sappy, and shit." Alec says while coming towards us. "Guessing that didn't g well." I say now giving Alec a side hug. "No. But Cas was annoying anyway. Oh and what about James and Rachel." My and Simon shrug. Alec nods understanding. Both Simon and Alec give me a hug. 

I look over to see Jace and Izzy still staring. Now I am irritated. "What is wrong? You look like you just discovered a new species." I say angry. "But...But.." Izzy says. "You are all gay!" Jace yells. I roll my eyes and look at Simon and Alec for permission. Hey you can't just go around telling other people's stories without their permission. "No," I say while they give my a confused look, "Alec is gay, Simon is pan, and I am bi." 

They still looked confused. "Oh my god. Alec likes guys. I like guys and girls. Simon doesn't care about gender." I explained. Before anyone can say anything more a middle aged man cam into the room. He had bleach blond hair and a toned body. He had many scars and drawings on his arms. Some very familiar. "Jace, Izzy, who are these people?"
