Baby Steps

Brianna's Pov

I got a call from Lizzy, she told me to go to the hospital, her mom was about to give birth. I was so excited for her, but at the same time I was upset that Chloe wouldn't be here to see her baby brother. My mom dropped me off at the hospital, in the waiting area sat Bryan, and his friend Dylan. I hugged Bryan and said hi to Dylan. Then Bryan pulled me close to him, and whispered in my ear "Bria when is Chloe coming home?" I would see tears forming in his eyes. I felt so bad for him, and I didn't know what to tell him. "Don't worry Bryan, I'm sure Chloe will be back soon." He hugged me and I walked back to the room with Elizabeth, her dad and her mom. Lizzy hugged me when I walked in the room. Just then the doctor came into the room, "Ok I think it's time for you to push!"

******** A Few Hours Later *********

We could all hold the baby now. He was so cute. "What's his name?" I asked their mother. "Tyler Daniel Smith." I smiled I liked that name. Elizabeth's name was, Elizabeth Allison Stewart, Chloe's was Chloe Michelle Stewart, and Bryan's was Bryan Joseph Handel. They had different last names, because when Bryan was born Chloe and Lizzy's dad wasn't really around much, because he was always out getting drunk and leaving for days and not coming back, so Bryan took their moms last name. Tyler was from their stepdad, so he took that last name, while Chloe and Elizabeth have their biological dad's last name. It gets kind of confusing to remember.

They took Tyler home the next day, he was a cute little baby. We played with him the entire day.
