Kicks Make Sick

Chloe's Pov

I looked at my stomach it was getting bigger, I was three months along now. I was supposed to have an "at home ultrasound" later today. I remembers my mom, and my stepdad. Then I thought about her baby. I almost forgot she was pregnant with a boy, I'm sure she's already given birth to it by now. I can remember the day she found out she was pregnant, and told me how happy she was, she told me how she wanted another little boy, and how she would name him Tyler. Then the day she found out she was having a boy, oh she was so excited, basically threw a party.

I stopped reminiscing when I heard Justin walking into the room. He kissed me on the lips, and rubbed my stomach. He took my hand, "you ready for the ultrasound?" I just nodded. He walked me to the living room where a lady was, she laid me on the couch. Then she put some weird stuff on my stomach, and started looking around. "Ah, looks like a healthy baby. Would you like to know the gender?" I shrugged, "why not." She looked harder into the computer screen, then she said "looks like a girl." I smiled on the inside, I did secretly want a girl, although I imagined having one in different circumstances than these, but at least I'm getting her. 

Justin helped get me cleaned up, and then he told me to wait for him in the bedroom. I heard arguing going on in the room, "I'm telling!" "No your not!" "Justin she's not staying here, and I'm not about to ruin my life, because I knew making me an acomplice!" "Fine then, I'll just end it for you instead." There was a pause, I heard a click, "No! Justin don't!" "Well you shouldn't have argued with me!" I heard crying, I decided I had to stop this, I did't know the lady, but she had a good heart, I could tell. "Justin, the baby is kicking, it''s so cute! Come see!" I said walking into the living room where he was standing. He looked at me, and smiled, "Baby I'm kind of busy here." "So busy you can't check on your baby!" I added a pout to make it believeable. He sighed, and put the gun down, "Ok babe, let me see." He started rubbing, and talking to my stomach, he would laugh when she kicked. 

The lady walked to the back rooms, she found hers and was about to go in it, she mouthed "thank you!" before going into her room. I just smiled and turned back to Justin who was still playing with my stomach.
