Gaining Clues

Elizabeth's Pov

I got home and checked my phone, there was a text from Mia it said, "lmao mrs. Carter today!!" I started laughing after reading it, mrs. Carter was our fifth period teacher and I guess you could say she was a little nuts. Mia and I had become really close friends, in fact she was spending the night over my house tonight. "Lizzy!" I heard my mother yell, I ran to her "yes mom?" She hugged me "Chloe! She's alive! They found traces of her living!" I was so excited, "traces of what?" She turned to the fax machine and turned to a voicemail from earlier today, "Hello, I would like you all to know that we have found proof that Chloe is alive, we have sources saying they saw a tall man pushing a skinny, blonde girl that matches Chloe's description into a house, we are going to investigate the house later tomorrow when the home owner is gone, we do believe that Chloe is in that house." I smiled at I listened to the voicemail, my sister was final coming home! I picked up Tyler and hugged him, he was a cute little baby.

Mia was finally here, I told her the good news and she hugged me, we watched t.v for about an hour until my stepdad knocked at the door, "yes?" I responded. " hey girls! Heard the good news, I got you both something to celebrate with!" He handed us each a bag, mine was my favorite color pink, and Mia's was her favorite color blue. I opened up the bag and almost fainted, it was an iPhone 5s! Mia got one too, we both hugged him. "Hey you're both like my daughters now, and I like to treat my children right!" "Thanks!" We both said, I got gold and Mia got silver, we loved them, it was way better than my iPhone 4.

After a while of playing with our phones, we walked into the living room. Tyler had a toy truck he was sitting it waiting to be pushed, and Bryan was on his new iPad air. I gave Tyler a little shove in his truck, he laughed while he moved around, Mia and I just continued playing with him and Bryan until about three in the morning when we all fell asleep on the living room floor and couch.

We woke up the next morning to the smell of pancakes, I picked up Tyler and put him in his crib, and I woke up Bryan and Mia. A lot of people say that Mia and I look alike although we don't really see it.
