“WHY are you here?” Kuryoso kong tanong sa kanya. Ngumisi lamang siya sa akin. He looks spontaneously handsome on his boyish grin. Like the couple, this guy is also wearing plain muscle gray shirt and pants.

“Because we're invited, Miss.” Umangat ang kilay ko. Sinilip ko sina mama na masayang nagyakapan ng tinawag niyang Lucilda. Then he introduced my brother, Goddess and Zeus to our visitors.

“Parents mo?” He nodded.

"Sein, hijo..." Pareho kaming napalingon nang tawagin siya ng mama niya.

"Princess." I looked at my mother who's wearing the same smile on her face.

"Can the two of you please come over here?" Mama said. I strode towards them and daddy gently beamed at me.

"Princess, this is Lucilda and Johnny Kershner." Ngumiti ako sa kanila. They looked pleasant. Mababait ang bukas ng kanilang mukha. Though, Jonhny Kershner had a playful eyes. Hindi maipagkakailang namana ni Sein ang pagkapilyo nito sa ama. "Hello po."

Lucilda and Johnny smiled back. I approached them. Nakipagbeso ako sa mag-asawa. "You're beautiful hija." Mr. Jonhny complimented.

"Thank you po, tito." Nahihiyang sagot ko.

"You two are lovely couples."I remarked.

"Oh, thank you, hija!" Wika ni Lucilda. Ngumisi naman si Mr. Jonhny.

"This is our son, John Hussein Kershner." Lucilda mentioned. Tumango ako.

Nakinig lamang ako nang ipakilala si Sein sa kapatid at sister in law ko. "This is Barbara Austen Henderson, their youngest."

Inabot ko ang kamay ni Sein nang ngumingising nilahad niya iyon sa akin. "I know her mother. We met before." I agreed.

"Really?" Manghang sagot ni Mama as sge was leading the way so we can accommodate the guest. We all sat in the living room.

Juice, and cookies were serve in a short while.

"Saan kayo nagkakilala nitong anak ko hijo?"

"Sa Royale's Haven, tita. She's with her friend."

Buti na lamang at hindi na masyadong nausisa pa ni mama si Sein dahil may tinanong sa kanya si tita Lucilda.

Nagtataka man ay nakinig na lamang ako sa kwentuhan nila Mama. I guess the night wouldn't be enough for the ladies to catch up. Daddy and Johnny seems cool in discussing business.

"So how are you, missy?" Sinilip ko si Sein sa tabi ko. Ngumiti ako sa kanya. "Good. You?"

Kumibot ang labi niya saka ngumiti. "Always awesome, missy."

"Barbs na lang." He agreed.

"So you like bar hopping, ha?"I raised my brows.

"I go there to unwind." He softly laughed.

"No need to be defensive, Barbs. I'm not condemning you. I have this cool sister who's a party goer and as I even remembered mentioning to you, you two look alike in several ways." Kumalma ako sa sinabi niya. He's not bad at all.

Dinner came and we all settled in the long table. Everyone were quiete and ate with etiquette. Walang masyadong diskusyon na naganap. But the moment the dinner ended and we all headed in the azotea, I started sensing different.

They've continued to discuss random stuff, while I'm not really paying attention to Sein. He looks really cool, though. Wala siyang hangin sa katawan at talaga namang magaan siya kausap. However, the anxiety I am feeling is not making me understand the words he says.
