Once upon a time there was a woman named Angie and a man named Germán, 'Germangie'. It was love at first sight for the couple, a happily ever after so they thought. But then everything fell apart. Lies, heartache and anger broke these two souls apart. It is destiny that is attempting to mend the broken pieces, but just how?
The question everyone's asking is,
"Will it work?"

{The Photo & Video clip will make sense later on in the story.}

1 year later.

"Good-morning!" Germán joyfully called as he quickly pasted down the stairs and kissed his only loving daughter, Violetta, on the forhead.

"Wow, what's made you so happy? You're never like this!" She smiled in both surprise and delight. It had been such a long time since he's been happy, she thought.

"I've finally moved on. Yep that's right. I'm ready to start dating again." Germán proudly announced.

His daughters smile faded gradually into a frown as she took in the news.
"What? No, no, no! That can't be. You love - "

A stern but painful look grew across Germán's face. He was quick to interrupt what his daughter was about to say.
"Don't say her name! And don't dwell on the past dear, I've long forgotten her. She's just a bad memory. A bad chapter of my life."

"How can you say that about her?" - Violetta was getting angry now - "She loved you dearly. Yes she didn't admit it all the time, but she was scared of you breaking her heart. She was scared She would break your heart, Father! Don't you understand? And just as she opened up her feelings she felt, you went and broke her heart. You drove her away from the pain you caused. You were the reason she - "

" - ENOUGH VIOLETTA!" Shouted Germán. His voice was slightly hoarse and his eyes shined bright as if he was about to break-down into a flood of tears. He fixed his tie and masked his poker face, showing no emotion.
"don't you understand how bad I felt about that? But honey that was a year ago back  - "

" - Back 'Once upon a time when you loved her." Violetta recited, implying that they have had this conversation a many times.
"Do you remember the way she made you feel? It was the happiest I'd ever seen you. The love that the two of you shared can't vanish into thin air just when you feel like it. You still love her."

Germán eyes widened in shock, he couldn't believe the things Violetta didn't hesitate saying. 'Does she really think I don't have a heart?' he thought. He was so sure up until now that if anyone could sense his real emotion, hidden under his, thick protective skin, it would have been Violetta.
"Stop it! Just stop it this instant!" His voice raised but his face stayed calm, "Let me make things perfectly clear for you. That relationship has gone, it's history. We've both moved on; I'm happy and so is she, in France."

"You mean  sad, lonely and depressed in France. Is that what you tell yourself at night so you don't worry about her? 'She's Happy.' We both know that's a lie Father. She couldn't stop crying the last day we saw her. Who could blame her too. She didn't have a choice."
Violettas' voice raised at this point. Her forhead crinkled in dismay. 'Has he really forgotten her?' 'Does she really mean nothing to him anymore?' She wondered.

Germáns' voice grew very loud and protective.
"She had a choice. She left you. She left me."

"But you forced her to go after everything that had happened! And you were with Esmeralda at the time. she didn't leave you! You left her! You broke her heart." Tears rolled down Violettas face as she stared German right in the eyes.
"Why did you let her go? She'll never come back  to Buenas Aires. She'll never come back to this house. We'll never see her again. Why didn't you fight for her?"

*The door-bell rung*

Germán headed towards the door, looking tense and stressed whilst replying, "Look Vilu, yes I loved Angie. I loved her very much. I thought she was 'the one'. But as you know things got complicated, she's gone. Just accept that and move on like I have. Angie is -"

Germán opened the door but forgot to finish his sentence. He froze in utter shock, dazed at the warm, familiar figure who stood before him.

"Hello Germán." The soft, kind voice said.
