Pablo was silent, biting his lip for the entire journey home. He took hold of Angie's hand whilst Violetta took hold of the other. A small smile appeared across her face, grateful that she always had Vilu and Pablo by her side.

As they reached the house, they came to a halt.  Whilst Violetta rummaged inside her satchel, eager to find her keys, Pablo couldn't contain his frustration any longer;

"Angie you can't let German treat you like this! You can't let him do this to you! He's messed with your head! He made you leave town! the country! Just forget about him and -'"

Pablo was cut off by Angie's short reply. She groaned, tired of Pablo's constant hatred for German. "well what do you want me to do about it then?" she said quietly.

"M-O-V-E O-N" Pablo spelled out.

There was silence. Violetta found her keys but her excitement for what was awaiting behind the door no longer fizzled. She didn't like the thought of Angie dating someone else, or her father for that matter. She couldn't believe Angie's "Best friend" could be so rude. Silently, Violetta passed the keys to Angie.

The silence was broken by Angie who had a tone of frustration in her voice, "You know Pablo there's a time and place to say what's on your mind" At this point she let go of Pablo's hand in annoyance but swiftly unlocked the door. The door began to slowly open and she entered...

Colourful balloons were displayed all over the room. A large banister that read "ANGIE WE'VE MISSED YOU!" hung boldly above the fireplace. There was a large table of food and punch on display. Suddenly confetti was thrown across the room...

"WELCOME HOME!" Everyone cried as they leapt out from their hiding places.

It was the entire staff and all the students at Studio On Beat (A studio Angie adored and previously worked at as their Music teacher).

Angie dropped the keys in shock. She placed her soft hand across her jaw dropped mouth. Her eyes filled with crystals, joyful tears leaving her eyes. Her heart beated fast, overwhelmed with surprise. "W-who did this?" She asked amazed.

"My dad and me." Violetta replied grinning as she walked over towards Angie and gave her a loving hug.

"Now don't forget Ramallo and me!" Olga called. (Olga was the house maid and cook and Ramallo was German's personal assistant / Best friend).

"Olga!!" Angie cried as she gave her a tight, warm hug.

"Let's get this party started!" Ramallo cheered. "That is how you say it? Party started?"

Everyone laughed but began to dance as the music started - It was Violetta performing with her amiga's Fran and Cami.

Angie's emotion rocketed sky high. She hadn't felt this happy in such a long time. The sense of welcome and belonging here - she could no longer hold back the tears.

"I'm just going to go and get some air and hopefully stop crying" She called to everyone cheerfully. Heading towards the door she continued, "I'm just so happy and gratefu -" but just as she reached the handle the door swung open.

BANG!

It hit her hard in the head like a ton of rocks and she immediately fell to the floor with a thud.

German quickly entered through the door, unnoticed that he hit Angie. "Angie? Where's Angie? She's here isn't she?" German called eagerly. He noticed the music had abruptly stopped and the shocked guests were looking at something. German traced their direction of eye contact and then he saw it. Angie was laying gracefully across the floor, her eyes squinting as she grasped her forehead.

"Oh no!" German whispered to himself in despair. He rushed over to Angie and knelt by her side. He took a hold of her delicate hand and squeezed it softly. He tried to speak as calmly as his mind would let him but deep down he was worried sick,  "Angie! Look at me, everything's going to be alright, I promise."

Angie obeyed and looked at German. His eyes pleaded to her, full of guilt and shock. She could tell that the words he spoke, he truly meant. She gave him a warm smile and wrapped her arms around his neck, giving him a tight hug. She shakily replied, "Nice to see you too" and gave a small, weak laugh. As she pulled away, German held her hand once more.

Whilst the guests awed at German and Angie together, there was one who watched over in disgust. A bitter remark left his voice, "You just had to make an entrance didn't you?"

The voice belonged to Pablo.

"Excuse me?" German replied astonished. He rose to stand with a confused expression.

"Oh nothing, you just don't stop hurting Angie do you?" Pablo replied agitated.

German's eyebrows rose, shocked at the accusation. He began to walk over to Pablo as he replied, "What is your problem with me? Since day 1 you've always had a grudge with me...why?"

Pablo laughed sarcastically, "Oh you want to know why? Why? It's because she chose you! It's always been you!"

German shook his head in disbelief, "I'm sorry Pablo, I didn't know this was competition?"

Pablo looked harshly at German, his eyes full of hatred. "Don't play dumb with me. We both know that I've treated her better."

German laughed in disgust. He was disgusted with how Pablo saw this. 'So this is how he saw love.' German thought to himself in disappointment. He shook his head once more before replying,

"Actually Pablo, it's about love. It's about how much love you have for somebody. You don't win her over with presents, you win her over with your heart - your love for her. I love Angie. And I think Angie still loves me."

That was the last straw for Pablo. He snapped. His Anger leapt for German like a vicious animal attacking its prey - he lunged at German.

The guests gasped and Violetta screamed. But it was Angie's voice that could be heard above the rest. "German!" She cried.

A solid fist lashed at German's face. It was so hard, so painful that German fell to the floor in slow motion. He fell motionless, left unconscious.
