"Come on baby girl. Wake up." Said Justin as he lightly shook my shoulders. I groaned and shooed his hand away. "Alice. Wake up. We need to get going."
"Fuck off." I mumbled. I don't know what Justin wants me to get up for and I honestly don't care. Pregnant woman needs her sleep.
"Alice Grace. Watch your mouth." He snapped.
"Why the fuck would you wake me up when you know I need my sleep." I glared at him.
"Because we're going to Canada." I peeked an eye open and saw him already dressed and showered.
"Since when?" I asked.
"Since I told you three weeks ago. It's my moms birthday weekend and we're spending it with my family. Now get up ad ready. I already packed your bags."
I groaned as I began to sit up. It was really hard to considering baby girl is finally starting to grow more towards my front.
I turned my head to look at Justin. He was waiting for me in the closet. He gave me a cute smile, while I glared at him in return.
"Don't give me that look. Now up." ------- "Hi! Oh my gosh you're getting so big!" Was the first thing I heard as we left the airport. Pattie was waiting outside for us by her car. I gave a smile as she pulled us both into tight hugs.
"You look absolutely beautiful." She smiled as she admired my outfit. (Outfit in Media^^^) "I can't believe I'm going to be a grandma. This is so exciting." She grabbed my bag from me and put it in the trunk of her car. I guess it's either her parents or a rental. From what I learned, Pattie lives in Hawaii. According to Justin.
"Okay mom. Save the baby talk for later." Said Justin as he opened the passenger side door for me. I thanked him and he got in the car behind me.
"I can't help it. You know how I get." She giggled.
"You're about as happy as my mom." I chuckled, rubbing my protruding belly.
"So, have you guys decided on a date for the wedding?"
"Um. We're holding off for a while." I said now interested in picking off the nail polish on my nails.
"Oh really? I thought you guys were getting married before the baby comes along." She took a turn and continued down a main road.
"Change of plans." I mumbled.
We soon pulled up to a fairly large home. It was a two start building with a log cabin exterior. I can't wait to see the inside.
Justin and Pattie got the bags out of the trunk and we made our way inside. "This is Justin's fathers house. He's letting me spend my birthday weekend here." She said walking in ahead of us.
"Are the kids home?" Asked Justin as we walked through the front door.
"Not at the moment. I think Erin is going to drop them off later tonight." She explained.
"I can't wait for you to meet my siblings. They are going to love you." He smiled.
"Can't wait."
Pattie showed us to our room and we placed our bags down at the foot of the bed.
"I'll let you guys get settled in. I will let your father know you are here." She gave us a final smile before turning around and leaving us alone.
"I like your mom already." I smiled up at Justin. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close.
"I can tell she likes you too. She's so excited to be a grandma. Just wait until we get downstairs. She's going to start asking so many questions." He chuckled.
"I don't mind. I love talking about our baby." I shrugged.
"I know you do." Leant down and placed his lips over mine. We kissed passionately for a few minutes before deciding we should go downstairs before anything happens.
Not like I would let it. Ever since we got back together we haven't had sex. I'm still super pissed about everything and I'm. It sure if taking him back so soon was the right idea. I am just so terrified that I lost one baby and I didn't want to lose the other. I'm afraid that if I tick Justin off, he'll just leave me again. It's like walking on egg shells.
"Baby? Are you okay?" Asked Justin as we sat in the living room across from his mother.
"Oh. Yeah. Just thinking." I shrugged.
"What about?" He asked.
"Nothing. Just baby stuff." I smiled.
"Okay." He smiled back.
"Speaking of baby stuff. Do you know what you guys are having?" Asked Pattie.
"Yeah. We found out a few weeks ago. We're having a girl." I said rubbing my bump.
"Oh my gosh! That's amazing! Are you going to be having a baby shower?" She sounded excited.
"Um, I'm sure I will. My mom will not let me not have one." I giggled. "But I don't mind."
"Just let me know a date and time and I will for sure. Even if it's short notice. I will not let myself miss out on a baby shower for my granddaughter." Said Pattie with a bright smile on her face.
"And I wouldn't want you to miss it." I smiled.
I gave her a loving smile and she gave me one right back.
"Alright. Well, while you two talk about baby stuff, I'm going to go talk to my dad."
And while Justin left, we carried in our conversation about our baby. ------- A/N:
