I'm An Ordinary Girl Who Met Cat Boy!

Recap: "Storm, someone wants to talk to you," Max said looking worried. 'Who is it?' I mouthed.

'Chris' he mouthed back. My eyes widened. I forgot about Chris! Chris was my ex-boyfriend! The one who was at my school earlier today! I gulped and took the phone.

"Hello?"

Chapter Four

"Storm..." he breathed into the phone.

"H...hi Chris," I managed to say into the phone. "I was looking for you at school today. I wanted to say sorry. Sorry for cheating on you with your best friend," he said.

For some reason, his voice sounded so... suspicious. "I'm not going to forgive you," I said slowly. He sighed, "I know. I feel so stupid for letting you go but I want to get back with you. I miss you so much, Stormy."

I narrowed my eyes when he said my nickname that he gave me. "Chris, when I say I don't forgive you, I mean I'm not going back to you. I don't know why you followed me all the way here, where I'm at now," I said.

"By the way, how did you find out where I live?" I asked him. "I have my resources," he answered. I shuddered when he said that. I don't know why but it gave me the creeps.

"Well, go back to Stacey!" I yelled. "I don't need you anymore. Stacey needs you and you need her," I quivered as tears started pooling down my face. "I broke up with her. She also told me to tell you sorry."

"Tell her I don't forgive her either! And don't call me ever again! I don't want to see you!" I shouted as I pressed end. I was so angry and frustrated! I can't stand him and Stacey anymore. What they did is done now. It can never be the same anymore.

There was a knock on my door that interrupted me from my thoughts of anger. "Yes?"

"Storm, it's me," Max voice came through the door. "Come in," I sighed. He opened the door and shut it behind him. "Is everything alright?" he asked. I nodded my head but at the same time I wanted to tell Max everything.

"I heard yelling so I came and check up on you. The guys are downstairs eating what you made for us."

"You should go down there too. I'm the one who should be looking after you, not the other way around," I said smiling. He smiled back and went towards the door. "Hey sis, sometimes I can look after you too, you know. It' time for me to act like the man of the family now," he said before he left.

That's right, my brother is now the man of our family.

I sighed as I got up off my bed. What am I going to do about Chris? He unintentionally followed me here. I don't even know how the fuck he knows where I live, which is really creeping me out. Who told him because I know I didn't tell anyone!

Not unless he saw me leaving and he followed us but what about his parents? Ugh, this is so confusing and frustrating! I knew Chris for a long time but now he has changed.

"Storm! I'm home! I brought food from work!" My mother yelled from downstairs. "Okay! I'm coming!" I yelled back. I walked out of my room and went downstairs. "So, anything interesting happen at school today?" My mother asked. Max and I looked at each other when my mother wasn't looking.

"No," we both answered. "But it was you first day of school. Storm, did you make any friends?" My mother asked looking concerned. "Yeah, one. His name is Jace," I said. "That's good. You should invite him over for dinner sometime. Is he handsome?" My mother asked.

Ah, here she goes again. Trying to hook me up. "Yes, he is but we are just friends."

"Storm, you know I'm okay with you going out with a guy. I don't mind at all. Max, does your friends have any rides to take them home?" My mother asked. "They live two blocks away," Max answered.

"Are they staying here for din..." I droned out my mother's and Max's conversation. I checked my cell phone and had a text message. It's either Chris or Jace. I hope its Jace. I checked my inbox and opened it.

It was neither of theirs'. It was from Stacey. Even though I deleted her number, I still recognize it.

From Unknown Number:

Hey, Storm. I know Chris probably told you I was sorry, but please accept my apology! I feel horrible about what I did. I know I was stupid but you see I was in love with him... So please forgive me!

~Stacey

I deleted her text. I wanted so badly to reply and tell her did she ever think about how I felt about Chris? Did she ever knew that I was in love with him too?! I wanted to tell her how selfish she is but I knew I would just cause more drama.

This is why I just want only one good girl friend and that's all because girls cause the most stupid dramas ever and I'm sick of it. My mom set a plate of food in front of me. I ate quietly while my brother and his friends talked to my mother.

After I was done eating, I headed upstairs to my room to finish the rest of my homework. After that, I went to take a nice warm shower and got myself ready for sleep.

I awoke to my alarm clock, which was Max yelling at me. "Alright, I'm up," I said as I sat up groggily. I went to brush my teeth and straightened my hair. I put on a purple spaghetti strap and then a white v-neck shirt over. I wore dark skinny jeans with purple vans shoes.

I grabbed my backpack, headed downstairs and grabbed a granola bar. I ate it happily as my brother came running down the steps. "I'm ready!" He shouted as he grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl and washed it under the sink. "You don't have to shout when I'm right next to you," I said. "Oh, sorry."

I shook my head and headed outside with to my car. My mom already went to work. Max came running out of the door and locked it with the house key. He ran into the car and almost tripped on the way.

He got into the car and sighed in relief. I chuckled and started the car to go on the way to school.

I parked my car in the parking lot and got out with Max. He ran away when he spotted his friends who were only a few feet away. Josh winked at me and I gave him a disgusted look.

"Seems like a freshman likes you," a whisper said by my ear. I jumped, startled by the stranger who whispered in my ear. I turned around quickly and relaxed my shoulders when I saw it was Jace. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you," he said laughing.

I hit in the shoulder and pouted. "That was rude," I said taking a deep breath. What? I was scared shitless. I looked at Jace's face but he was glaring at someone from behind me. I turned around and saw it was his cousin, Zach.

He came towards our way. "Does, little Jacey have a girlfriend?" He asked in a playful turn. "Shut the hell up, Zach," Jace snapped. "Way to be rude to your cousin in front your girlfriend," Zach said smirking.

"She isn't my girlfriend," Jace replied with anger in his voice. "Really? Mind if I have her?" He asked smirking and looking me up and down. For some reason, it sent a chill down my back but I liked it.

What the hell am I thinking?! Zach is a perv! At least I think he is.

"Yes," Jace growled. Zach just laughed and walked away. "Ugh! He is so annoying!" Jace said angrily. "It takes time," I said while watching Zach walking away. Zach was very mysterious for some reason and I'm determine to find out about him.
