I'm An Ordinary Girl Who Met Cat Boy!

Chapter oo7.

Zach and I were bonding. I was glad we were too. I really wanted to become friends with him. He may be mysterious but he is nice deep down. We both got up off from the ground. I brushed off the dirt that was on my pants. "Storm. I finally found you," a voice that I haven't heard since the phone call from him.

I looked up and saw Chris. He looked at me with such intensity; it gave me a bad vibe. "Chris what do you want?" I asked with anger in my voice. "I missed you. That's all. Is there something wrong with that?" He asked as he caressed my right cheek. I smack his hand away. "Don't touch me," I hissed.

I knew Zach was watching us but I didn't care. "You know, I came all this way for you," he said angrily. "I never asked you to!" I shouted. I didn't shout loud enough for other people to hear. He raised his arm and I cringed back waiting for the pain to come to my face. It never did. I looked in front of me. Zach was in front of me holding onto Chris' arm. Whoa! That was fast! He has a fast reflex! "Don't touch her," he growled. Zach and Chris stared at each other with hatred in their eyes. Chris yanked his arm out of his grip. "Fine. I'll come back to you Sapphire, when this guy isn't around. I'm keeping my word too," he glared. He narrowed his eyes at Zach and left.

"Thanks," I said giving a small smile to Zach. "Your welcome. That guy is a bitch. Let me guess, he was your ex-boyfriend?" Zach asked. I nodded my head. "He was my 6-month boyfriend until I found him cheating on me," I said looking down. "What an idiot," Zach muttered. "What?" I asked.

"I said, he is such an idiot to cheat on someone is so nice," Zach smiled. I blushed. "Thank you," I mumbled. "Ready to go back to class?" He asked. I nodded my head. "How come you didn't eat?" I asked realizing that he didn't have anything for lunch. "I had tuna," he said with a dreamy look in his eyes. "You're like a cat," I said laughing. "Am not!" He defended.

"You like to be up trees, you have fast reflexes, and you love tuna," I said. "You kind of sound like Bella from twilight," he chuckled. "You read twilight?" I asked. "I saw the movie. Why would I read twilight?" He asked. "Because you know what Bella said?" I said it more like a question.

He shook his head back and forth. "Twilight is stupid," he said. "I agree too!"

"I've never met a girl who hates twilight with a passion," he muttered. "Well, now you have. One, Robert Pattinson is so not attractive. Not my taste and two, vampires DO NOT sparkle. They burn in sunlight," I shouted earning weird looks from some people.

"Do you believe in vampires?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know. I have to see it to be able to believe it," I smiled up at him. "What is your type anyway, for guys?" He asked.

"My type? Well, one, he has to have a little bit of cuteness, a great personality, loves animals especially cats, and someone that I could trust," I said. "Why especially cats?" He asked. "I love cats! My favorite animal of all time!"

He smirked. "What?" I asked. "Nothing. Jace looks pretty pissed off," he said looking at someone from afar ahead of him. I looked straightforward and saw Jace standing by the entrance into the lunch cafeteria. He did look pretty pissed off. We walked up to him. "Hi Jace!" I said smiling. He glared. I cringed back and when he saw me doing so, he softened his face. "Sorry. I'm just feeling very tense," he said looking directly at Zach.

"Let's go in," I said as I grabbed their arms and pulled them inside. "You two, quit it," I said pointing at them in their chests. "Storm, where were you at lunch?" He asked. "I was eating with Zach. Why?" I asked a bit annoyed. Sheesh, Jace is kind of getting on my nerves. "Jace, I sat with you two days ago. I'm taking turns sitting with each of you," I said.

Jace sighed. "Let's go Storm. Zach had his chance with you, it's my turn," he said pulling on my hand. Great, now Jace is asking like a puppy. He always wants attention and wants me to follow him. I turned to look at Zach and gave a apologized look. He waved it off and walked away with his hands in his front pockets.

I watched him as he disappeared behind a crowd of people who were throwing away lunch. "Jace, where are you taking me?" I asked. "Class, silly," he said. "We have art next, right?" He nodded his head. "Zach is in the same class as us. He could've came too, you know." I stated.

"Well, too late now," Jace said. We were in the art room now and Jace went to the same table like last time. I sat next to him, knowing I wouldn't win if I tried sitting somewhere else. Zach walked in and looked around. His eyes landed on where I was sitting. He smiled and walked over to the table next to me. There was a girl in front of me who started whispering to another girl beside her.

"Did you see his smile?" The redhead asked the brunette. "Yeah! I've never seen him smile before. He was smiling at someone but who?" She asked. "I don't know but he has a hot smile. As Zach walked by, they hushed up and watched him secretly but failing. He knew they were watching him but he didn't care.

"Hey Storm," he smiled again. "Hey Zach," I waved. I glanced next to me at Jace. He was too busy talking to a guy next to him. I looked at the girls in front of me and they were glaring at me. I looked away from them.

Class started and we started on the projects that we were working on before. It's been 30 minutes already. I heard a shifting coming from the left of me. I looked over and saw Zach getting up with his project. He handed it in to the teacher. She looked at the picture with approval in her eyes and adoration.

"Excellent work, Zach. Like always," she said smiling at him. He nodded and went to clean up his worktable. I gawked at him. "Close your mouth, you'll get a fly in there," Zach said smirking. I rolled my eyes. "How can you finish so fast?" I whispered. He shrugged his shoulders. "I just like drawing a lot," he said.

I looked down at my project. I was half way done! He looked over at my drawing. "You're not too bad yourself," he mumbled. "Really?" I asked. He nodded his head. Most people told me I was really good. But hearing it from someone who is extremely good makes me feel very happy.

School was over and I was on my way over to my car. Max was talking to his friends like usual. "Max!" I yelled. He turned around and looked at me, nodded his head. He said good-bye to his friends and ran towards me. I got into the car and started it. I saw Zach walking towards his car. "You like him," Max said from besides me.

"Well, as... as a friend," I sputtered. He raised his eyebrow. "Okay, just a bit!" I blurted. "Ha!" Max laughed. I rolled my eyes and put my car in reverse. I backed out and started driving home. I did like Zach. He was mysterious and he was fun to be around. I'm looking forward for tomorrow, so I can see Zach at school.
