I'm An Ordinary Girl Who Met Cat Boy!

Chapter oo6.

"Storm, get ready. It's 7:00 in the morning," a woman's voice said. I opened my eyes and looked up at the speaker. It was my mother. "Hi mom," I smiled as I stretched. She sat down on the couch that provided a small space for her. "I heard what happened yesterday," she said.

"Yeah, I guess I need to drink a lot of water."

"So, the boy that took you home... he seems really nice... Well, at least that is what Max told me," my mother smirked. Here she goes again. "Mom," I groaned. "I'm sorry honey, but I'm giving you a chance to have a boyfriend unlike some other girls who would die for one because their own parents won't let them till college," she replied.

"I'm not ready for one yet and besides, I just moved here!"

"I guess your right. You need more time to know them better," she grinned. I sighed. My mom will never give up!

She got up and went into the kitchen. I got off from the couch and went upstairs to my room. I took a shower and let my hair dry. I put on black skinny jeans and a bright aqua v-neck shirt on. I put on my aqua van shoes on. I brushed my hair and added a bit of make-up.

My phone vibrated and I checked it.

From Zach Wilde:

I'll be at your house in five.

I didn't bother to respond back. I packed my stuff in my shoulder bag and went to check if Max was ready. "Max," I knocked on his door. "Yeah?"

"Zach will be here soon," I said. "Okay!" He answered. I headed downstairs and decided to eat cereal. The doorbell rang and my mother rushed to get it. "Hi!" My mother said cheerfully. "Hello, Ms. Keller," Zach's voice said.

I heard talking and my mother came into the kitchen with Zach trailing after her. "Here, sit. Do you want any breakfast?" My mother asked. "No thank you. I already ate," he smiled politely.

"Okay, well, you two have fun at school. I'm going to check on Max and then get ready for work. It's nice meeting you Zach. You should come over more often," my mother said and left but as she passed me she whispered, "He is a cutie. You should go out with him."

I glared at my mom. "She seems really nice," he chuckled. Oh God! I hope he didn't hear that! "I'm coming!" My brother yelled. He came running down the steps. "Took you long enough."

"Sorry."

"Are you guys ready?" Zach asked. We nodded our heads and followed after Zach who led us to his car. "This is a nice car," I said looking around inside. "Yeah, thanks," he smiled. "Dude, can I look through your songs on your iPod?" Max asked popping out from the backseat. "Max!" I hissed.

"It's fine. Sure," Zach chuckled. He gave Max his iPod. "Sweet! I like these bands too!" Max said happily while looking through the songs. I stopped listening to their conversation. I mean, I love music with a passion but it gets boring when Max starts talking about it because he goes on and on!

"We're here," Zach said as he parked his car in the parking lot. I got out and waited for them to get out. "Thanks Z!" Max said. I rolled my eyes at his nickname for Zach. Zach walked beside me. We started walking slowly towards the school.

"Um, thanks for carrying me, taking me home, and back to school. We really appreciate it," I smiled. "You're welcome," he said as he put his hands into his pockets. "You know, if you need a ride, you can ask me," he said after a while of silence. I nodded my head.

"Storm?" A voice said from behind us. I turned around and saw Jace. "Storm!" He said happily running towards us. "Where have you been? I was looking all over for you yesterday!" Jace exclaimed. His smile died down when he saw the person next to me. "What the hell are you doing here?" Jace hissed.
