The newspapers exploded, and the rumors soared. "One direction: gone for a year and all the sudden they show up completely fine." Some were just glad they were back, while others believed they had taken a year vacation and just wanted the publicity when they re-entered the world. The rumors only got worse and more ridiculous from there, especially when the police wouldn't release the details of their case.

The police laughed in their faces as they told them the story of Darius and Eric and the powers they had acquired. They separated the ten into individual interrogation rooms and the police got frustrated when they all told the same story with no deductions. Then the chief of the Cheshire police department brought them all into the same room, "You are wasting valuable time we could be spending investigating other cases. You have all been gone for a year, disappeared completely, you never used your credit cards, you're highly recognizable and were never seen. I don't believe that this was a publicity stunt, but you ten better start talking and now. Don't waste my time." They all just looked at each other. They had been interrogated for ten hours and were tired and wanted to see their families, who, the police chief told them, they wouldn't be allowed to see until they told the truth. "I want to see my mom." Said Erin. "I can prove it to you." With that she turned invisible, she grabbed Paige's arm and she turned invisible too. "Do you believe us now?" Asked Erin. The chief just looked at them "that was a...nice trick. But you expect me to believe everything else you've told me?" With that Paige talked to Perrie in her mind, "metal bend the gun and shoot Erin, I'll tell her you're going to do it and she'll put up her force field." With that Perrie metal bended the gun out of the Chief's belt, "what the..." He stopped when three gunshots went off aimed at Erin. He jumped out of his chair and tried to tackle Perrie but Paige knew what he was going to do and grabbed her arm and teleported her away he landed at Harry's feet and when Harry touched him a shock went through his whole body as if he's been tazed. Then Louis picked him up a foot off the ground with one arm and asked "do you believe us now?" The police chief stared wide eyed at them "um....please tell your story again. This time I'll listen."

After they explained to the chief again what had happened Paige teleported a SWAT team back to where they had been kept all those months. Everyone wanted to go with them but the police refused in case there was a trap to catch them again. He only allowed Paige to go because no one knew exactly where the place was so she had to teleport them there. When Harry heard that Paige was allowed to go but he was not he was angry. They had just escaped but Paige was going back. A SWAT team was not enough to take on all the guards they had. Paige would be captured again. However the chief said he wouldn't preform an investigation if anyone else went. So Harry watched as the love of his life went back into the hands of the people that had tortured them. As soon as Paige was out of sight he started shooting lightening everywhere and eventually Zayn and Louis had to hold him down, even though he kept tazing them.
