Gemma heard a bang, and then she felt incredible pain. But she wasn't dead. She was hit in her shoulder instead of her head. Darius must have very bad aim is all she thinks as her vision begins to blur. Another shot rings out and this time there is a deep pain in her stomach. She is dizzy and she wants to go to sleep. But someone keeps yelling her name. "Gemma! You stay awake and you focus on me. Oh God there's so much blood. I couldn't get the gun away from Darius in time. Danielle! Come here! You need to heal her!" Perrie. That was her name, but Gemma thought that Danielle would be too late. And she was glad; she could finally be with Harry.

Paige had gotten use to the constant buzzing in her head. Hundreds of people thinking in their head "I need to go shopping," "did I turn off the oven?" "He's cheating on me. He has to be." Paige found that she could ignore them most of the time so it was a constant dull roar in the back of her mind. She also found out that she could pick out voices and find out whom they belonged to. So when her mind went quiet she knew something was wrong. She didn't realize it but she had been concentrating on Harry's mind as she fought. That's what she always did when they were together in order to keep the other voices out of her head. When Harry's voice disappeared out if her head she knew that something was horribly horribly wrong. She lost her concentration and the man that could generate acid almost hit her. At the same time she was fighting a woman who could strengthen the powers of other people she was going to lose she couldn't take on both of them at the same time until her head went quiet. "Stop! Fight each other until one of you die then get on your knees and don't move." She didn't realize she gave the order inside of their heads until they turned on each other. She didn't have time to fix it though she had to find Harry. She teleported to him and saw Danielle trying to heal Gemma as Harry lay on the ground not moving "What are you doing?! Fix Harry! Heal him! Do something!" She didn't realize she was ordering Danielle to do it until she walked over to Harry without even arguing. She worked on him but Paige could read her mind "he's dead" "no he's not! Just heal him!"
