How lovely to see you again!
I hope I haven't kept you waiting for too long.
As I was saying Yellow Eye was dead, Sam, Dean, Bobby, Ellen and I were all alright. Oh, yeah, by the way in the meantime, Bobby and Ellen managed to lock up the Devil's gate. Props to them. Only a small army of demons managed to get out, no biggie, right?
Silly me regarded the end of Yellow Eye's life (or eternal punishment, who the hell knows at this point) as the start of my freedom. No more hiding, no more looking over my shoulders. Without their leader, the demons won't give a tat about me. If he was still alive with all those minions waiting for his commands while mingling among humans I'd be scared shitless. In this case, it'd mean locking myself in a panic room preferable built under a church in holy ground and taking a bath in holy water 24/7 in a tub made of iron with a Devil's trap painted on it. Please don't laugh, things can turn so bad so quickly that I can legitimately see this happening at some point.
Anyways I was chuffed and everything seemed peachy. Yeah, we let them out and Bobby was talking about some war that was about to happen. I was sure this is all just pessimism. We hunt them down, send them back to Hell and everything is fine.

In the meantime, I started dating. That's one of those things I never had the chance to do the correct way so I was excited to try myself out on these unknown field. I met this guy at the grocery store who looked like a decent man so I agreed to go on a date with him. You know what? It was a fine experience however that's all I can say about it really. He was nice and all but we didn't click so we said our goodbyes and I went back to my old ways.
Bobby, Sam, Dean and I started by working on a strange case with a hunter couple. People killing each other over a pair of shoes, a family dying by drying out while watching telly and other Sunday afternoon delights. God, I hate this job. Turns out we got ourselves into a hot clutter with the 7 deadly sins.
It's all gone a bit pear-shaped... to put it lightly. We cocked up royally. First the male part of the couple I mentioned died, then they ambushed us and cornered me and Sam. He was supposed to lure those twats into a trap and I was there to shoot rock salt from behind to push them into the circle but I was too early. Pride got me by the tail and as expected had trapped both of us. He got cocky, it's in his nature I guess, and made a speech about how Sam's not being protected anymore and I should be very afraid, 'cause the demons aren't done with me yet. Then a girl came in and saved us using a knife. Her name was Ruby and you'll hear a LOT more about her later.
And then there was Bela, a thief but not the common kind. Bela Talbot was a gal I've known for donkey's but we've never been close. Our first encounter took place in good old England. She was a wealthy girl who inherited a huge amount of money when she was only a teenager and became a "merchant" when she grew old enough. She started her own business which involved selling spiritual advices, performing rituals and trading artefacts for cash. That's how I met her. There are a few elements to my warding spells that are not exactly legal to obtain and Bela was there to help me out. We haven't had an even remotely close friendship; our relation was strictly business related. I set aside some money, she got me the goods, we made a trade and adios. She liked me for always being on time and I like her for being prompt. I remember being kind of sad when she left for New York because I never found anybody who was as capable as she was. Now that I'm in the States too our paths crossed again.
She stole a cursed lucky charm from the boys and they needed to find her. They phoned Bobby and I dug up her contacts. (Kept those just in case.) The Winchesters found her, got their toy back and everything went back to normal. We continued our daily lives and she was minding her own business, except when those two things met. Bela couldn't be bothered with the whole holy war against the armies of hell thing and I don't blame her. If I had a chance to run from all this I would've took it too but as you and I both know Pride made it clear that I wasn't off the hook just yet.
Bobby told everybody to look for biblical signs and omens to see where the loose demons are taking action. There were a lot of unusual activities those days, especially in the US. The guys liked to focus their attention to this area but I expended my vision because of a premonition I had. I was still in danger and more demons were upstairs during those days what we ever encountered so maybe there will be some lead on my old life's mysteries. I looked at the BBC's news 3 or 4 times a day and browsed forums to spot anything slightly dodgy. The pursuit was not in vain for that I found something I was hoping for.
Multiple eyewitnesses spotted an electric black cloud hovering over the Forest of Bowland. Seven days later a perfectly healthy and young nun caught a terminal illness attacking her womb and died. Next week the exact same thing happened a few towns over. If you still have doubt let me just say that the 1st victim lived and died in the same church where they found me and the 2nd was in Leeds which is the city where the orphanage used to be. Both women were exactly as old as I am and their birthdays were around the time when I was born supposedly. Without a birth certificate nobody could precisely tell the day and the doctors said that it must have been during early or mid-December. There is no fluke here.
I planned a trip back to the old country and finally I wasn't alone. Sam and Dean volunteered for the job and while Bobby also wished a part for himself he has decided to stay in the US.
"Somebody has to shook up and rein in those idjits while you ladies are going on a vacation."
I was unsure whether he was speaking of the demons or other hunters. But this tour was no holiday or a pleasure visit and frankly I didn't want to know why is all those things happening to me, just needed to end them. In doing so we had to uncover the secrets which led to a very uncomfortable journey not just for me but for Dean as well.
