Stay with me Ponyboy

Chapter 6

"I had so much fun tonight Ponyboy. Thank you so much. Really, thank you." I said, turning he door nob for the house before tip-toeing in.

"Your welcome Jess. I had fun too. Maybe we can do it again sometime?" he asked me, looking dow at his shoes and playing with his thumbs as if he was nervous.

"Yes oh my god yes Ponyboy!!!" I said quickly wrapping my arms around him in a tight hug.

"I mean, yeah sure. Whatever. " I said, trying to keep calm while I was screaming on the inside.

My god he smells so good!

He wrapped his arms around me tight, resting his head on top of mine. I smiled into his chest, thinking about our date tonight.

Its been the best day I've had in a long while

flashback to the date

It was a beautiful combination of mixed colors. All the reds, blues, pinks, and oranges made up to be the prettiest sunset.

I looked over to my left to catch a glimpse at Ponyboy who had a small smile etched on his face. I think he seemed to sense me looking at him, because he turned to me and his smile grew bigger almost immedietly.

"Lets go get something to eat, okay?" He said, standing up then offering his hand to help me up.

I gladly took it but released almost immediatly. A wave of shocks shot through me immediately. Almost like being struck with lightning, but in a good way.

We stood almost a yard away, both of us jumped back from the feeling. I don't know what I felt, but I liked it. I could tell he could too.

We started walking out of the lot and down to the drive in for a burger and a movie.

Once we collected our food, we went over to the small opening in the fence. Ponyboy slid under before standing up and brushing the dirt off his shirt.

He turned around and reached for the food in my hand. I gladly gave it to him before sliding under the fence myself.

Pony stuck his hand out to grab mine and I put my hand in his. That same feeling shot through me again, making me feel really cofortable with Ponyboy.

He turned to me, giving me a big smile before leaning over and placing a small peck on my nose while cupping my cheeks with his hands.

"I really like you Jessica, you know that?" Nothing could erase that smile from my face.

Nothing.

Except maybe the Socs.

Maybe.

We sat down on the chairs by the movie screen with our bag of popcorn and drinks. I scooched my chair closer to Ponyboy's and rested my face on his chest.

He squirmed under me, trying to remove his arm from under my body. After he got his arm out, he wrapped them around me, pulling me closer. If that is even possible.

I was awoken by a poke in my cheek. I swatted the hand away from my cheek. Another poke. I groaned, sitting up slowly while whiping my eyes.

"What?" I said, drawing out the word.

"The movies over sweetheart." He said chuckeling.

"Why didnt you wake me up so I could watch with you? I feel bed now" I frouned then he chuckled at my expression.

"I would have, but your face looked so innocent while you were sleeping. I couldn't find it in myself to wake up your pretty little face." Awww. My heart flushed when he said that. He is too good for me, How did I get this lucky? I have no idea.

On our walk back, we talked about anything and everything. I was having a great time. It is such a nice break from all the soc trouble.

flashback over.

And that's wheee we are now. Laughing on the front steps, trying to open the door quietly so we didnt wake anybody.

Once in the house, we tip-toed passed Sodapop, who was crashed out on the couch, to Pony's room.

I grabbed a large t-shirt and a pair of spandex shorts from my suitcase before instrucring him to turn around so I could get changed.

After we were both changed, -Ponyboy without his shirt on- he sat down gently on the bed while I on the other hand, took a running start and did a pretty impressive belly flop on to the bed if I do say so myself.

Once we were both calmed down, I layed down on my side, engulfing him in a sideways hug.

I took in one last deep breath, surrounding myself with his smell before I let my eyelids start to flutter closed.

"What are you doing to me Jessica Dallon?" He said, his voice bairly audible. I dont think I was supposed to hear it, but I did.

"I was wondering the same thing abour you Ponyboy. What are you doing to me?" I said in a whisper, before falling to sleep with a smile on my face.

"How did I get so lucky?" he whispered. I turned to look at him but his eyes were already shut.

That feeling just keeps comming back.

HEY EVERYBODY IM BACK!!!! It hasn't even been a month since ive last updated, so I'm getting better at that. On second thought, 300 READS EXACTLY!!!!! Thank you all so much for all your support on this story. It means so much to me you don't even know it.

Anyways, I'm on Christmas break right now. It is currently 12:30 at night and I am exhausted. Its been a long day.

One last thing, what do you think a good ship name for Jessica and Pony/ Ponyboy would be, I really need your help commimg up with some thing.
