"Look who's out to party!" Mike shouted excitedly, picking me up and twirling me around. I let out a light chuckle. Once Mike put me down, we ran off across the street, into the forest.

"Ren, why aren't you with that hulk of a Cullen, isn't that like your best friend?" Mike's best friend, Alex Moran asked me awkwardly.

"He's with his girlfriend," I murmured quietly, as my mood plummeted drastically.

"Oh. My bad. So..are you single?"

"Yes I am,"

And with that the talking ceased, and the partying began. Mike had brought two bottles of Jack Daniels, and a big bottle of vanilla vodka, while Alex brought brownies that weren't JUST brownies (if you know what I mean *wink wink*), and Mike's other friend Jesse started blaring music from his phone, terrible music but music none the less.

These kinds of parties are really lame, and overrated. I go along with it so I can attempt to erase my memories, even if only for a little while.

I claimed a bottle of Jack Daniels for me, myself, and I, and snatched up three brownies. Time to have a party of my own. Mike and Jesse were dancing crazily, while Alex was laying flat on the ground looking up at the sky in a hazy state. Clearly high.

I downed two of the brownies, and drank a bit of the Jack Daniels. While I was on my third brownie I felt the effects of the other two hitting me in the nervous system, full force.

I started hyperventilating, and trembling. My anxiety had spiked through the roof.

Mike and Alex were passed out next to each other, and Jesse looked like he was about to join them. I was now alone, with my anxiety, and I somehow had to find my way home.

I stumbled through the trees, searching for that familiar path that leads to my house, but everything was spinning wildly. I tripped over a root, and rolled down a slight hill, hitting my head on a tree trunk. This is not how I wanted to spend my night.

As I tried to sit up, I spotted my phone a few feet away, lit up and cracked. I crawled to it, and then fumbled with it until I found the first familiar number in my call list. It rang and immediately that familiar voice was heard on the other line,

"Serenity?" I nodded, but then realized he couldn't see me nod.

"Yeah, it's me. I need help.."

There was a high-pitched whining sound a few feet away, hidden behind the trees. The whining abruptly stopped, and Paul Lahote stepped out in a ripped pair of shorts. I stretched both arms out towards him, like a small child that wanted to be held, he picked me up and carried me through the trees until we were in front of the road, leading into the Rez.

I relaxed in his arms as we approached, Jacob Black's house. The door swung open and Jacob sprinted out towards us. Paul set me down on my feet, keeping an arm over me as support.

"Renny! Are you okay?" Jake asked worriedly, pulling me into a gentle hug. I nodded into his shoulder.

"You reek, let's get you inside. You can use the shower," I nodded again, then followed Jake into the house, with Paul Following close behind.

Inside, on the couch, sat Embry and Quil. I waved as I stumbled into the bathroom. Jake set down an extra shirt of his, and a pair of Emily's shorts. I thanked him, then locked the door.

I scrubbed the dirt off and kept scrubbing until my skin was red. I washed and rewashed my hair three times, scrubbing the dried blood and dirt out. I sat down, pulling my knees up to my chest, letting the hot water run over me, until it was icy cold.

I climbed out and dressed in the clothes that were laid out for me. The shirt was so big it hung to my knees, covering the pair of shorts.

I brushed and dried my hair, then put it up in a messy, half-assed bun.

Once I was done, I climbed into Jacob's bed and fell asleep. Jacob called my dad while I was in the shower to tell him I fell asleep at the rez.

What a life saver.
