Chapter 5: Suspension (*trigger warning*)

*Trigger warning below* I'll leave one of these notices just before the trigger.

"No balls, Eddie." I teased, jabbing him in his ribs, which backfired a bit. Stupid indestructible vampires.

Edward glared at me, "Serenity..how many times do I have to tell you not to call me that? It's Edward." He said, slowly, like I was a small child, having a difficult time understanding something.

"Bitch why you talking to me like I'm slow? I ain't slow!" I playfully yelled, just loud enough for only our table to hear.

Everyone chuckled at my outburst. Edward sighed as everyone kept nagging him about my sister.

I looked up, just as Bella had walked into the cafeteria and up to the salad bar. Edward got up and walked over to her. He caught the apple with his foot just before it hit the ground and tossed it up hackysack style and caught it in his hand.

He held it out to Bella, with a straight face.

They talked some more and after awhile Edward looked over to our table and grimaced, Bella got a confused look on her face.

When the bell rang, we took our time to throw away out trays and make our way to class.

I ran up to Edward, and hip bumped him. "So what was that all about, Eduardo?" I asked, coming up with a new annoying nickname.

He rolled his eyes, but otherwise ignored that nickname. "She's going to La Push beach, tomorrow with Jessica, Mike, and Angela." He muttered.

"Okay? Then why so glum?" I ask, uninterested

"I can't go to that beach...to protect her. Can you go with her?" He asked, more like begged. I shrugged, as we walked into Biology.

Edward sat down at his usual seat, as I went to the seat behind him.

"Heyy, Renny. Jessica wants you to text her. ASAP." Eric called to me, as be walked in with Bella, and Mike.

I nodded and pulled out my phone, holding it under the table, looking for Jessica's number.

Hey, Jess. Eric said you wanted me to text asap. What's up??

My phone quietly buzzed as I got her reply

Yeah. Where were you at lunch??

I was with the Cullens. Why?

Because, Serenity. I needed your support. I need to go to Port Angeles, Bella's coming, do you want to?

Maybe. I'd have to see what I'm doing.

Okay. Wanna go to La Push? Bella, Angela, Mike and I will be there.

Sure, Jess. I'll be there at noon. Tomorrow.

Okiee. See you then.

I grumbled under my breath at the clinginess of Jessica Stanley.

"Miss Swan. I would hope that you aren't texting in my classroom, because if you are I'm going to have to take it from you and write you a discipline referral." Mr. Molina states, glaring at me. I slid my phone under my leg, and shook my head.

"Give me the phone, Miss Swan." He said sternly. Everyone was looking at me now.

I sighed, standing up and walking up to Mr. Molina, and handed him my phone, then went back to my seat and sat down.
