I awoke to being shaken. I jumped up looking around frantically. I sighed in relief as I saw it was only Bella.

"Hey, sorry for scaring you. Charlie asked me to wake you up, and tell you you're going to school." She spoke gently, as a grimace formed on her face.

I groaned, throwing my blanket off of me, and jumping out of bed. I pulled out random clothes, then rushed into the bathroom, starting the shower. As I turned to look in the mirror, I froze. Old make-up and tears were dried on my face, my hair was knotted, and under my eyes were huge, dark circles from lack of sleep. Steam clouded the mirror, making my reflection disappear.

I hopped into the shower, washing my hair with strawberry scented shampoo and conditioner.

When I felt clean, and the Strawberry scent was all I could smell, I climbed out and dried off. I ended up dressing in grey jean shorts, a purple, zebra print tank top, and a black hoodie that said "La Push High, Senior." It was Sam's old hoodie from when he was in school.

I blow dried my hair, and put it up in a messy bun, then put thick, black eyeliner on, and mascara.

Time for school. I thought to myself  frowning. I slipped on flip flops and walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.

Charlie was gone already, and Bella was sitting at the table reading Wuthering Heights..again.

"Again, Bells?" I asked, trying to spark up a conversation, to relieve myself of the awkward silence.

She shrugged, not looking up from her book as she replied "Yes, I just can't get over this book, I'm in love with it." She murmured. Yup...Still awkward.

I shrugged to myself, picking up my car keys and leaving the house.

At School:

The sun has come out and so has the skin. Everyone sat outside on the picnic tables, eating lunch.  I was sat next to Bella, and Jessica with my sunglasses on, covering my eye. Bella craned her neck, searching the crowd, most likely for Edward.

"He's not here." Jess spoke up, peeking over at Bella at random times, as she sunbathed in the grass. Bella looked down at her confused. "Whenever the weather's nice, they disappear."

"They just ditch?" Bella inquired, looking quite confused. Uh Oh. She's figuring it out..

"No, Dr. and Mrs. Cullen yank 'em out for hiking, camping and stuff. I tried the idea out on my parents. Not even close." Bella stared into space, registering what Jess had said. Suddenly, I was tackled in a hug, by Angela.

"I'm going to prom with Eric. I just asked him, I took control." She squealed in my ear, making me cringe away. She let go of me and leaned on my sister.

"Are you sure you have to go out of town?"

Bella shrugged "It's a family thing."

"Then why isn't Ren going with you?" Angela asked sounding confused

"It's uh..her family's thing. Not mine.." I murmured sounding super awkward.

Now because of me, we were sat in an awkward silence, all with different things running through our minds.

"Oh my God! We need to hit the stores in Port Angeles before the dresses get cleaned out." Jess exclaimed drawing us out of silence. Thank you Jess.
