Matt had taken the girls to the Spa while Christian ordered the guys, and helped as well, to prepare the living room.
They were now in the middle of the afternoon. His mother, Arianna, and father, Roberto, would be there in a few minutes with both Hannah's father and grandfather, Benjamin and Mariano. Jude was coming as well. Arianna thought it wouldn't be a good idea but Christian knew Hannah would like her to come as well so he invited her.
(Christian) "No! Fucking hell!" – he groaned. – "That's upside down, you fucking dipshits!" – he then mumbled. – "Idioti." (Idiots.)
Matt chuckled and then the bell rang. He walked to the door and opened to reveal the heads of the family.
(Mathew) "Hey." – he smiled. – "Get in, get in."
They all got inside, greeting Matt.
(Christian) "Fucking hell! Do you really think that's where she's going to sit?! A fucking stool?!"
Ian looked down at the stool in his hands and then up to his boss. Arianna wanted to laugh so hard and even let out a small snort but shut up immediately when Christian glared at her.
(Ian) "W-Where is she g-going to sit?"
(Christian) "On a chair!" – he yelled.
Ian walked back to the kitchen with the stool and his head hung low.
(Arianna) "Can I help you with something?"
Christian huffed and finally took in what his mother was wearing.
He had asked everyone to dress up nicely, since it was her birthday and a party to celebrate their child. And his mother wasn't disappointing him.
She had a dark blue dress that reached her knees and a pair of silver high heeled sandals. Her hair was up and her makeup was the appropriate one for a woman her age. She was actually really nice.
Jude was wearing a dress as well. But hers was a pale pink one that reached a little below her knee area. It was quite simple but it was still elegant. Her hair was down and had soft curls down her shoulders and her makeup was light as well. She had a pair of brown high heeled sandals.
The other three men were wearing dress pants and shirts, though everyone was wearing a different color. Mariano had a dark purple one, Benjamin a grey one and Roberto had a dark blue one, matching his wife's dress.
(Christian) "The guys don't know how to give that final touch and honestly, I don't think I know either." – he answered his mother's previous question, calming down a little.
Arianna smiled softly and walked to her son, kissing his cheek.
(Arianna) "It looks amazing already."
It did.
The area where the couches used to be was cleared so that people could linger there comfortably. The couches were pushed to the side but they were turned to the coffee table, where some snacks were already placed. He made sure he ordered food that could stay out in the open and was fancy enough for the type of party he intended. Water bottles, juice and glasses were all over the small table and the dining table, which was covered with food as well.
There were balloons blue, pink and white around the room with cheering words on them. There was a banner on the back wall that said: We can't wait to see you, baby Galletti-De Luca; that was still currently upside down. The lights were dim but people could still see everything clearly.
Christian had the idea of having some of the baby's clothes around the room just so people could drool on them. Let's face it, everyone loves a little onesie or a little pair of baby shoes.
