Two weeks later

Christian opened his eyes and looked down at the sleeping beauty on his chest. Her mouth was slightly opened, her hair was all over the place and she had a taint red on her cheeks.

He couldn't help but to let out a chuckle when she licked her lips lazily and opened her mouth again. He put the few strands on her face behind her ear and then grabbed the pillow from the floor. He slowly pilled her off of him and replaced his torso for the pillow. She mumbled something that he couldn't quite understand and hugged the pillow like she was a baby hugging her favorite stuffed bear. He grabbed a pair of dark blue basket shorts, putting them on and kissed her head, walking out of the room quietly.

Rubbing a hand through his face, he walked downstairs to see Lauren and Louise going over a magazine.

(Christian) "Morning..." – he mumbled.

They both looked at his sleepy face and chuckled, muttering a morning as well. He looked around and then sat on the coffee table in front of them. They looked at each other confused and put down the magazine, knowing right away he wanted something important from them.

(Christian) "I want to ask you two a favor."

(Lauren) "Sure, what is it?"

(Christian) "Anna's birthday is coming up and I was thinking of throwing her a party."

Both women's eyes shone in excitement.

(Louise) "That's awesome!"

(Lauren) "Oh! And maybe we can do a baby shower on the same day."

Louise nodded eagerly while Christian looked at them confused.

(Christian) "No, the baby's not born before Anna's birthday."

(Lauren) "We know, that's the beauty in it."

Now, he was deeply confused.

(Christian) "How would we shower my baby when he isn't born yet?"

They both looked at each other and burst out laughing.

(Lauren) "A baby shower is a party people throw to celebrate a pregnancy. You know, we throw a party, invite some people and they give Hannah presents for the baby."

(Christian) "So why would they call it a baby shower?" – he raised his eyebrow.

They both looked at each other again, knowing he was right.

(Christian) "You know what..." – he quickly dismissed the subject. – "It doesn't matter. We can do both parties in her birthday."

They started squealing together and he shushed them.

(Christian) "She can't know about this!"

(Louise) "Okay, okay..." – they calmed down. – "What do you need our help for?"

He scratched the back of his head.

(Christian) "For everything."

They both looked at him wide eyed.

(Lauren) "We can't do everything. You have to do something."

(Christian) "I know but I don't know how to... throw a fucking party. It was always my mom whenever it was Anna's birthday."

(Louise) "Okay, but you have to do it. We can give you tips and everything but you have to be the one preparing everything. You're her fiancé and the father of her baby."
