Chapter 12. The End.

Weeks passed by...

The longer I waited, the tougher it got. Ayano's in an endless sleep.

And I'm just...here...sitting and waiting...giving up on her...

What kind of brother am I...?!

The phone rang, it's from the hospital..

"Kageyama Tobio, is that you? Are you Ayano's older brother."

"IS SHE ALRIGHT?!" When she said yes, I ran out the door and ran all the way to the hospital,  pushing everybody out of the way (savage), and went to Ayano. 

"Ayano...are you doing fine...?" I asked, and she just stared at me.

Her eyes. They didn't have the same spark. They looked...empty...and depressed...

"Oh...it's you...again." She turned away, hardly acknowledging my presence. 

"Ayano...are you okay? Does it hurt anywhere? Do you need something to drink? I can buy you something. Oh, are you hungry? Is that it? I can call the nurse. Or I ca-" 

"I don't know you. You're wasting your time with me. Go away." 

"No, Ayano. I'm your older brother! You have to remember me. We played volleyball together, we had fun together, and we did everything together..." She didn't even look at me, I sighed. 

"Until you left me..." I sat down on a chair right next to the bed. 

"I actually didn't want you to leave...I missed you...a-and...this feeling...I hate it...it brings me back..."

"Sir...I think you are mistaken. It's not me."

"I was lonely. Ayano. Can't you see?! I was so happy that you came back...Ayano..."

"..."

"Don't leave me again..."  I lowered my head, I didn't want to show any weakness. 

"KAGEYAMA!!" The whole group entered the room.

"We heard everything." Hinata said.

"So what...it's too late. It's usele-" 

"Nothing is impossible, Kageyama. So we came to help you. We're going to help you get all her memories back."

My eyes widened. Everybody came...for me..? Somebody's actually...here...for me...

I saw everybody...everybody talking and sharing with Ayano. Maybe...maybe this might work...

It's been hours, and now she's just ignoring us. 

I was just joking. This is impossible. 

"Boys, visiting hours will close soon..." We all nodded and got all our things. I was reluctant to let  go...to let go of someone I love...

However, there was one more thing that I could try...before I leave...

I walked up to her, everybody watching, including her....

I closed my eyes, and hugged her as tight as I can. 

"Ayano....Ayano..." 

Ayano's POV

The strange man walked up to me, what is he planning to do..?

The next second, he hugged me. I was shocked. My eyes widened. 

Why does this feel so familiar....?

This warm embrace...It feels nice...it's comforting...
