Wirt's Point of View
"Dude! This thing is huge!" I exclaimed, eyes wide.
It would take me a day to summarize just Dippers room, so I won't put it into so much detail. But wow, this thing was huge. There was atleast 3 chandeliers, a kings size bed, and a BUNCH of reading material. But wow, it was all so.. how do you say it... shiny.
"Really? It kind of gives me the thought that you think we are the rich snobby type."
"No!" I reassured. "Your family looks really cool. And this room alone? Wow."
"Wait til you see my sisters room," Dipper chuckled. "It's full of rainbows and glitter."
"I bet."
It took me a while to stop aweing at everything, not until Dipper cleared his throat purposely to me.
"Oh! Sorry." I told him, blushing a tiny bit from embarrassment. "So, I see you read a lot."
"Oh, yeah," he said, looking at a huge shelf of books.
Most of them were mystery books, and the others consisted of information to things, usually mythological. There was a whole in the middle of the shelf where books were absent, which I guessed could be filled in by three books on Dippers nightstand, each having a golden six finger hand on the cover.
After I was done seeing around, Dipper spoke up. I think he didn't like the silence, because of the awkwardness in clearing his throat once again.
"Wirt, I have a question. This could go either really well or really awkward."
I turned my head towards him. "Hm?"
Dipper walked to a radio, and placed a disk inside. And with a few pressing of buttons, a song hummed into the room.
Dipper then extended his hand like a gentleman and smiled, "would you like to dance?"
I stared at him with my cheeks flushed, then burst out laughing. "Your joking."
After all, if he wasn't, he'd probably set something up to trick me. There's no way he likes me the way I do.
He exchanged a red on his face. "Nope. Well?"
I thought about it for a moment, then took his hand, ignoring what could go wrong. "Sure."
Mabel's P.O.V.
It was ten minutes and I couldn't get myself to even send a text to Pacifica. I only stood laying on my bed, head in my hands. My mind was racing, cluttering with love and loss, what could go wrong, and what could go right.
She's straight, she's bi... I don't know! It was only a text saying hi... even if I did send it, would she reply?
Suddenly the sound of one of Dippers favorite songs echoed from his room. I unplugged a headphone to actually confirm, and sure enough, it was.
I immediately forgot about my love as my smile crept once again onto my face.
If this was what I thought it was, I would be so happy.
Slowly, I tiptoed out of my room to the door next to mine, and put a ear to it. I heard to music clearer, and two boys laughing, along with many footsteps emerging from the room.
"It's happening!!!" I whispered to myself.
Subconsciously, I put my hand on the knob, and accidentally twisted it a tiny bit. But I didn't notice.
That's when my pig, Waddles, put himself right in front of my legs, enough for me to trip into Dippers room, door flying open.
"Ow!" I rubbed my head and looked up, and that's when I saw it.
For a few seconds, Dipper and Wirt were ballroom dancing, until Dipper yelped at the sight of me, and let go of Wirt.
