The Airship

Mayonaka's POV: We got into the Airship and the old man began introducing himself. I looked around not really listening. After he finally stopped droning everyone just spread out. I made a move to go after my brother but hesitated and followed Hisoka. He went into a random room and sat down starting to make a card tower. I watched silently, as his hands gently put the cards in place as if he was never a killer. After he finished one card tower he looked up at me. "You want anything, my little fruit?" "No I was just bored." I replied because I didn't see anyone else in the room. He gently hummed. "You want to try?" "Sure" I replied simply and he threw me a deck of cards. I sat and copied the moves I saw when he made the first card tower. I was almost finished but when I tried to put the last card the tower tumbled. I growled at it lightly then tried again.

Illumi's POV: I walked around the airship, very bored. I walked past an open door then when I looked in I felt a twitch of envy. Mai was with that dumb clown, Hisoka. I walked in. Mai was trying to make a card tower but when she put down the last card, the whole card tower fell. Hisoka laughed and Mai got slightly frustrated. "Dumb little cards." I heard her mutter under her breath. Then she burnt the cards somehow. Hisoka's frowned. "Hey you didn't have to burn the cards." He said letting every word get louder. Wow he must really love cards. Mai shrugged then looked at me. A smile appeared and I smiled back. "Hey Grittarickuar!" She greeted. "Hey" I responded. We began talking about stuff while Hisoka just built card towers. I began talking about my brothers. "Milluki isn't very useful, only in tracking, but most of the time he just sits on the computer and eats." She laughed and I laughed with her (for the first time.) Hisoka seemed surprised to hear me laugh because he dropped all his cards. "Grittarickuar you..... you just laughed." He said, his voice very surprised. I shrugged and we went back to talking, this time Hisoka was talking with us too. After a few minutes Hisoka went back to his cards and I just watched him. I glanced over at Mai and found her asleep. I got her a blanket and covered her, it was a little cold. I saw Hisoka smirk. "You must really care about your girlfriend, Grittarickuar." I felt my face getting warm for some reason. "She is not my girlfriend." I replied. He hummed. A few minutes later I dozed off...

Iwoke up then checked a clock. It was 6:26 so I decided to stay awake. Not long after, Mai woke up at 6:29. We talked softly to pass the time, and I soon found out why she keeps starring at that little kid. He was her little brother. She talked about her family. I told her about Killua and my other brothers. Soon other people woke up and it was about 9:00. Hisoka found us. "What are you two doing?" He asked coming out of nowhere. "Just talking Hisoka." replied Mai. Soon it was time for the 3rd phase...
