Don't Leave Me - Henry Mills-Swan

Your POV

beep beep beep

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm that I apparently forgot to turn off. I quickly reached over to grab my phone to stop the irritating beep.

"Ughhh, I hate you," I muttered as I grabbed my phone and turned the alarm off.

6:30 a.m. was all I could see on my phone screen.

"Nope, going back to sleep," I put my phone back on my nightstand and rolled back over to face Henry, seeing how peaceful he looked, I shut my eyes, and drifted back to sleep.

- 2 hours later- (Spongebob narrator voice)

I woke up to the sound of mumbling, and opened one eye, while squeezing the other shut.

Geez, the sun is bright.

It was Henry, apparently mumbling in his sleep. He looked like he was sweating, and his eyes were squeezed shut. He started to shake his head and I realized, he's having a nightmare.

"Henry? Henry, babe wake up!"

He didn't, he kept shaking and mumbling and I freaked out.

I shook him, hard.

"NO!" he shouted, as he sat up, wide-eyed.

"Baby, what's wrong?" I furrowed my eyebrows and sat up with him.

"Nightmare, it was horrible," he said with tear brimmed eyes.

"Oh Henry, I'm sorry, do you wanna talk about it?" He nodded.

"I-I was walking through a forest, looking for you, screaming your name, but you wouldn't answer.  I kept walking and-and you were on the floor, laying there, blood w-was all over you, it was just everywhere. I ran to you and held you in my arms, begging you to wake up, screaming your name in your face, but you didn't. I sat there with you in my arms crying and barely being able to breathe. It felt so real," he was now full on sobbing.

I pulled him into a hug and he snuggled into the crook of my neck, crying. I hate seeing him like this. We pulled away after a few minutes.

"Henry, babe, it wasn't real, I'm here, see. I'm here with you, none of it was real, I'm ok."

He just pulled me into a tight hug. When he pulled away, he kissed me hard, and passionately.

"Don't leave me please, don't ever leave me, I can't live without you. I love you so much Y/N."

I buried my head into his neck and kissed it multiple times.
I looked back up at him and said the two words that made him feel a thousand times better, the words that he wanted to here in this exact moment,

"I won't."
