Taken Pt. 1 - Felix

It's been at least 2 hours, 2 hours since I got to this living hell.

But let's just explain how I got here in the first place. Ok? Ok.

I was sitting on my bed at my foster home crying my eyes out.

I honestly don't even know if I can call it home, but anyway.

My foster brother had just tried to rape me and I told his mom and she didn't believe me. She said I was an attention seeking whore and that she wished I would just die.

So did I when your son was feeling me up.

That's when he came in, the shadow, all black and creepy. He just stood there, more like floated actually, and stared at me with his bright yellow eyes.

I couldn't do anything, just sit there and shake in fear while he stared.

After about a minute he just launched at me, no matter how much I yelled and struggled, no one came, no one saved me.

Next thing I know, I'm screaming at the top of my lungs. A minute ago I wanted to get this thing away from me, now I'm holding onto him for dear life.

When my throat gave out I looked down, giving myself a whole other level of anxiety.

I couldn't help but look back down, dumb I know, but looking at the bright lights of the city was actually relaxing my nerves a bit.

I know what you're thinking, you're being carried away by this shadow and you could die at any second, your life literally being held in his hands, and all you care about is how cool the lights look, yes.

Then reality sets in, I realize I could literally die and I start to freak out again.

I gather up enough strength to grab onto his leg and look up at him.

"Where are you taking me!?!" I yell as loud as I can hoping he can hear me.

He looks down at me, then looks straight ahead, flying as though I wasn't there. Gee thanks.

After another minute of torture, we fly into a huge could and see a place that I've only seen in books and movies.

A place my birth mother would tell me about. The one place where children would go and never grow old.

The happiest place to be.

Neverland.
