Chapter 7 ~ Rachel's PoV

Oh my gosh! Alesha is so kind. I feel like I would be able to speak to her about absolutely anything. It's such a nice feeling. I really want to know so much why Alesha needs to talk to me, but also I don't want to know as I don't want it to be bad, I just have a feeling that she is going to talk to me about something bad. I wonder how Amanda knows about me, has Alesha told her about me as she knows my dad? Or does she know my dad too? Or does Amanda know my mum?
I am so confused as to why I have been summoned by two of the most amazing people in the world. It is so exciting though getting to be so close up to them though. I have even hugged them both. Alesha hugged me for quite a long time. I didn't know what to do at first when she hugged me, and she didn't hug very lightly either, she was literally hugging me so tightly for about ten seconds, I thought that she was going to squeeze the life out of me, but then she loosened her grip on me. Then I was able to hug back properly and it felt good and right to hug her. When Alesha's arms started to get looser around my waist, I realised that she was letting go of me, so I let go of her. I looked at her out of the corner of my eyes, and she was wiping her eyes, she had been crying. I felt quite sad that she was crying, but I didn't question her in case she made up a silly excuse as to why, or just blocked me out and I didn't want that happening. I had noticed that Amanda had disappeared, she must have gone to the toilet or something.
Alesha asked me a few questions, a couple of them were about my family. I was happy to talk about my family with Alesha, I haven't known her for all that long, but I feel that I can already trust her. We were talking about singing when Alesha asked if I would sing to her. I didn't really want to but if Amanda hadn't of walked in, I probably would have as I don't want to disappoint her. Amanda told me that her and Alesha needed to go and talk to somebody and that they would be back in about 10 minutes. They walked to the door but as they reached it they turned back and waved at me, and then walked out of the door.
I look around me, as I hadn't really had the chance to earlier, as I was talking and I was a bit shocked, I still am quite a bit shocked that I have met and hugged my two idols. The room that I am in must be Alesha's dressing room. There is a chair with 'Alesha' written across the back of it. The chair is facing a big dresser with a mirror on the back wall of it. On the dresser are several different items. I walk over to it and notice that there are a couple of photographs on it. I pick the first one up and it is a really cute picture of Alesha's daughter, Azura. I place it back down and pick up the other one it is a picture of Amanda, Amanda's husband, Chris, Alesha's husband, Azuka, and Alesha herself. It is actually quite a sweet picture of them all wearing quite smart clothes. I feel quite bad for snooping around but I can't help to, it's just so interesting finding out about people, and looking at their stuff when I am on my own, plus I'm bored. I notice a pile of CDs on the other side of the dresser, I walk over to them and pick up the first one. It is Alesha's most recent, and my favourite album, do it for love. I look at the others on the pile. There are a number of singles, all by Alesha, all of her albums and all of the mis teeq albums.
I open the top drawer of the dresser below the CDs as it has a piece of paper on the front saying 'Open me'. There is a note in it. It says ' Hey Rachel, I figure that you will probably find this note, I don't mind you snooping around, we all do it, I am quite bad for snooping when I am somewhere I haven't been before and I get quite curious. I have locked a couple of the drawers as they have got quite personal things in that no one has seen. By the way, there is a note in all of the other drawers. I guess that you have opened this one first as it has open me on the front (I wrote that by the way, in case you didn't guess). Feel free to put the stereo on the remote is under this note, and I left a bunch of CDs out for you so you have a choice. Have fun while I'm out. See you in a bit. A. X'
O.K. Alesha is seriously chill about me snooping, I am so glad about that but I am also quite puzzled about it though, it's as if she wanted me to by writing the note on the drawer. I thought that if she walked in on me snooping that she would be mad, but she won't be if she does. I decide that I will take up Alesha's offer of listening to music, I grab one of the albums and stick it in the CD player. I look in the next drawer down, the note says 'There is vodka in this drawer, if you want a little bit do have a sip, and I repeat a sip only, I don't want you going home drunk, I doubt your mum would be happy with me if you were. Also I have important stuff to tell you, so I want you sober. A. X.'
I removed the note and put it in my handbag along with the other one. I look at the vodka, I have never tried it before, I have heard that it is meant to be really nice, but as much as I have wanted to for a while, I don't want to try it now, I doubt that it would settle in my stomach at the moment. Maybe later, or another time. I shut the drawer, when one of my favourite songs comes on which I know it really well. I start singing loudly and dancing around like crazy. The song finishes and I hear clapping from behind me. How long has someone been there for? Did they see my crazy dancing or hear me singing? I really really hope not.
