"One way or another I'm gonna see ya, I'm gonna meetcha meetcha meetcha meetcha. One day, maybe next week, I'm gonna meetcha, I'm gonna meetcha, I'll meetcha." -One Way Or Another (Blondie)

---

Today it's Sunday.

Sunday was Lukes' day. He would wake up extra early (extra early being seven o'clock) and skateboard his way around the city, clicking photos as he went.

He often found himself in the quieter part of the city. Walls decorated with graffiti, tiny shops, and patches of parks. Luke avoided parks with children as much as he could- parents usually didn't like a teenager with too many tattoos taking pictures of their kids. Luke went for parks with teenagers or elders who didn't mind someone taking a picture of them.

Dressed in his usual black skinnies and vans, he grabs his tattered board and camera, throwing a goodbye to Calum over his shoulder.

"Oi, be back soon. We're gonna find your man, remember?" Luke really disliked Calum sometimes.

"Lay off. I don't even know his name. Plus, he's not even my man." Luke shot back, quickly darting outside before Calum could say anything else.

Luke glanced around when he was out the door because this part of the city was a little more than shady to him. After deciding he was safe, he stuck headphones into his ears and made his way to Central Park.

Soon the music of Blink-182 filled his ears and he was lost in camera snaps and cold wind.

--

Luke was on his way home when he was once again in front of the little bakery.

Right as he's passing a woman exits the building causing Luke's nose to be filled with sweet smells. He almost falls off his board because how can something smell so good?

Calum would literally kill me of I don't get something for breakfast, Luke thinks to himself before he's kicked up his board and is entering the shop.

The first thing he notices when he walks in is how homely it feels. Tables and booths spread around the room with a few people scattered here and there. A couple is sitting in the booth in the far corner- pale hands wound tight in tan hands. The two men are too lost in each other to notice Luke snapping a picture of the two. He can't quite place the heavy feeling in his chest until the tan one- brown hair and brown eyes- is gently kissing the pale one- black hair and blue-green eyes. It's not quite jealousy- Luke hates jealous with every fiber of his being. It's an ugly emotion that he wants nothing to do with. (A/N its kellic ohmygod its not phan idek what a phan is. isnt it a cooking spray?)

Longing.

Luke longs for a relationship full of cuddles and kisses and hand-holding.

"Aren't they adorable?" The woman's voice startles Luke into realizing that he's been staring at the said couple and they'd noticed. He feels his cheeks go pink before he gives them a smile and a wave before turning to... Maria as the name tag reads.

"Uh yeah sorry I just got lost in my thoughts."

Maria nods in understanding because her little fiore was out of it the past few days.

"You're a photographer?" Luke takes notice of Maria's strong accent but couldn't quite place where she was from.

"Oh, yeah! I just take pictures of beautiful things."

Maria smiles and both glances at the couple, once again lost in each other's embrace.

"Young love is beautiful."

--

Once the boy with tattoos leaves, Maria makes her way to the back of the store, humming as she goes.

"Fiore!"

Ashton peaks his head from where he was decorating cupcakes, looking at the pink-faced Maria with a smile.

"Someone make an impact?" Maria smiles to herself because that was their phrase.

"Of course mia bella roasa. Someone always does." Ashton has become quite used to Maria calling him her "flower" or "beautiful rose", and understands most of the Italian she speaks.

"Mind sharing?"

"He likes beautiful things."

Before he can ask her what she means, the little bell above the door is dinging and he's droping the icing and pulling a smile on his face.

Ashton never gets to ask Maria what she means.

--
Luke glanced at his now ringing phone, sighing at the name lit-up on the screen.

Mom

He didn't want to talk to her. Didn't need to talk to her. Didn't want anything to do with the woman.

"You really need to stop avoiding her." Calum called out from the room over.

"What's the point? All she's going to do is yell at me. I don't feel like going at it with her." Luke called back from his position on the ledge overlooking the dark street in his room.

"Whatever. She's eventually going to find us. And then what do you thinks going to happen?" Calum needs to stop being right all the time. Luke signed, running a hand through his hat-hair.

"I'll run and hide, that's what." Luke hoped the silence from Calum signaled the end of the conversation and sighed in content. He heard Calum moving around and hoped he wouldn't be left alone tonight.

"'M going out. Don't wait up." Calum called before the door was slammed and Luke was left alone to his thoughts.

Luke thinking tended to not being a good thing. To keep his brain occupied from going dark, he grabbed his coat and skateboard and locked the door behind him.

Oh and the couple was Vic and Kellin. (Lead singers from Pierce the Veil and Sleeping With Sirens)

**I added the Luke/Calum bit today (Christmas) so I could write the next chapter easier.**
